We stayed here in the Mocca guesthouse for 2 nights. It was such a valuable and impressive time for us. The house is very stylish and generously furnished. The living and sleeping areas are very large.Seiko Tsuji took care of our meals and spoiled us with her cooking skills. We have traveled a lot in Japan, but we have never seen so many impressive craft workshops in the area, peacefull places and the nature is amazing. Definitely a highlight of all our days here in the land of the rising sun.We like to come again.

What a truly magical stay!As first time visitors to Japan we visited Tokyo, Kyoto and a few places in between and yet our stay at Mocca was easily one our most memorable. Masa and the team have created an oasis of tranquility and calm and Tamba Sasayama is a wonderful place to visit with many layers and facets - our only regret is that we could not have stayed longer to discover more. From the carpentry workshop experience to the tours of the local pottery studios to a sunrise walk in the forest and fields we did so much in such a short time and yet we felt like we only scratched the surface. I wish them every success and we look forward to coming back!
