It was the best hot waterThe hot springs belonging to Takayu near Azuma Kofuji are very rich, and the way they gush out is extremely luxurious.Your eyes and stiff shoulders, which are strained due to hard work, will go away and you will be healed from the core of your body.Personally, it is the best hot spring along with Sukayu, Attakayu, and Nakanosawa.

The road leading to this inn is narrow and there are few shelters, so if there is an oncoming vehicle, you will have no choice but to back up.If you are not good at backing, it is better to refrain from doing so.Depending on the location, you may have to back up more than 100m around narrow curves. Also, I think it depends on the time of year, but there are a lot of insects in the room, so some people may not like insects.Basically, the outside windows are open, so insects can come in as much as they want. You can prevent this to some extent by keeping the shoji in your room tightly closed.Also, since I have a cat, I enter and exit the inn normally from outside. Around 1 a.m., a black cat came to my room with a crunchy shoji screen.This inn is more like a hatago than an inn. I think people who can understand that will enjoy it.Of course there is no security.★Revisited in late July 2022, staying overnight on weekdays.It's hot at 33 degrees below, but it's 23 degrees here. I'm wearing long sleeves.The refrigerator in the guest room has a small freezer compartment (it can hold 1 kg of ice), so it's best to use the refrigerator in the self-catering room.The black cat who used to visit me at night didn't come this time, but another cat came at night.★Revisited in late August 2022, staying overnight on weekdays.The lower part is not as hot as last time, about 30 degrees, but the slightly warm water is about 23 to 24 degrees.The temperature of the hot spring is 31.7 to 32 degrees.I soak for about an hour each time.This time, perhaps because there were fewer guests, the cats attacked us many times!A quiet cat came around 7pm, and a black cat came several times between midnight and late at night.The black cat keeps tearing the shoji, so the shoji has to be repaired a lot.This time too, he came at 4am, meowed, and tore the shoji screen.There seem to be other black and white cats, but they don't come into the room.★Revisited in late July 2023, staying overnight on weekdays.The temperature is 8 degrees lower than the lower part.It's a little cold in the morning.Perhaps because there were no other guests staying, a black cat came to visit early and sat on my lap, grooming me and going to bed.I was being ridden for over an hour.Perhaps because of this, there were no visits during the night.The other cats didn't visit either, but they let me take a photo at the entrance of the inn.★Revisited in late August 2023, staying overnight on weekdays.Fukushima City in the lower part of the world is quite hot at 36 degrees.It's almost 30 degrees here.It's cool in the morning.I got to meet a dark brown cat who always runs away.A black cat and a quiet cat attacked at the same time at 9pm. This is 25 degrees. There are many dragonflies.There are still insects in the room.The water temperature is higher than before, between 33.8 and 34.1 degrees.On rainy days and mornings, the temperature is only around 20 degrees, so wearing short sleeves will be a little cooler.I'm happy to be able to interact with the cats.★Revisited in early September 2024, staying overnight without meals.Perhaps because it has gotten a little cooler, there are fewer dragonflies and fewer insects (although there are moths).As usual, the black cat was active and even fought with the snake.Lately, there have been an increase in the number of guests staying overnight and day-trippers even on weekdays.However, at the same time, the number of idiots has increased, and you can now see scum such as country people talking loudly, idiots who enter directly without washing themselves, and trash who leave washed dishes in the kitchen.Please don't come to the hot springs, scum!

I was finally able to visit Mr. Nikaido, who I have always admired!On the way, I was in a new place, deep in the mountains, with no signs and no signal, so I was full of anxiety.On the way, I was driving while thinking that there were things that looked like small monkey figurines left on the side of the road.I was surprised to find out that they were actually a real army of small monkeys, but I managed to make it there.Although the road was paved, it was narrow and I had to back up many times when there was an oncoming car.There were some places that were so narrow that even a compact car could barely fit in them.When we finally arrived, we were greeted by three signboard cats!They are all big and very cute cats.Since it was summer, the water temperature was just right and the water had a wonderful sulfur scent.This time, it was a day trip and I was so busy, but next time I would like to stay overnight!It was the best secret hot spring I have ever been to! (lol)It’s amazing deep in the mountains!
