The hotel itself is clean but requires a refurbishment as the fixtures and furniture have considerable wear and tear. The staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious but they have 3 buildings with a needlessly complicated system to get from one side to the other. The onsen was ok as it was included but a bit disappointing if you had to pay for it. The food was good, standard Kyoto-style set menus, but nothing stood out. Overall a good stay, but pricey for what it offered

Iya valley hot springs hotel hikyo no yuThermal center in the mountains. Very beautiful view of the valley. We slept on a futon: the experience was original and positive. The hotel is made up of 3 buildings with several elevators... which means that without a map (given by the hotel) you can easily get lost in the establishment. The onsen is huge with a view of the woods. On the other hand, we did not subscribe to the breakfastWifi at the desk but absent in the rooms

I stayed in the main building, and the lobby, interior, and rooms were clean. The hot springs are large, and since it was a weekday, we were almost exclusively reserved, and the open-air bath surrounded by greenery was soothing. All dinners were delicious and plentiful. The ayu shape making, ayu sushi, salt-grilled ayu, and Awa beef were all exquisite. Also, the cold sake Yamasho was really delicious. The breakfast had a lot of variety and I was very satisfied. All the staff were very nice and I was able to relax and have a great trip. All the family members who went with us were very satisfied. I would like to visit you again. thank you very much.

I was planning to stay on September 2nd.While there was a cancellation fee, I called to see if there would be a cancellation fee if I changed the date.Since there is no cancellation fee due to the typhoon, would you like to cancel? ! So I canceled it.I was saved because I had to cancel my rental car and other accommodations.
