Bandai Atami is the hot spring resort of Atami in Fukushima.Yamashiroya is located in a corner of the hot spring town, and Bettei Tsuki no Niwa is an inn right next door.It's about a 15 minute walk from Atami Bandai Station, and if you're coming from the Tokyo area, you'll see the Atami Bandai Tourism and Products Center in front of you, and if you go there after 3pm, you'll find bento boxes and bread made by local shops. I got itI stayed alone in a Japanese-style room that can be used by a group of four, but it was a room that made me wonder if it would be okay for the price.(We had a room on the second floor, but the stairs seemed a bit steep to go up and down, so if you are concerned about that, we recommend a room on the first floor.)The bathhouse located at the back of the building on the first floor seemed a little small, so it might be a good idea to adjust the time you use it so it doesn't get too crowded. The quality of the natural hot spring water is smooth. The simple alkaline spring water is said to be effective against muscle pain, neuralgia, and burns, and there is also an open-air bath.The door to the room (of course?) is the type that opens and closes with a key. I think it's easy to hear the door and be easily heard by people around you. I think it would be better to be a little considerate to each other so that we can spend our time comfortably.⚫︎For cyclistsThere is a parking lot, but there is no bicycle parking lot or bicycle parking space. You can park one or two bicycles against the bamboo wall in the smoking area to the right of the entrance (which will keep the rain out), but if you are coming with an expensive bicycle, please put it in a bicycle bag and take it to your room. I applied through the Tsuki no Niwa website, but after a few days I didn't get a reply, so when I called, I was told that they couldn't accept my request because there would be electrical work on the day of my stay. If that's the case, maybe you shouldn't contact them sooner. This is the worst response. The quality of the hot spring water is ``sooty'' and wonderful. You can also stay there for 8,000 yen per person during the Obon period, which is a great deal.
