We went with 2 adults around 1:30pm.The last order was at 14:00, and we had delicious charcoal-grilled meat! We haven't been able to have a BBQ recently due to rain, so it was a lot of fun! The staff was also kind!I was also very impressed with the soy sauce ice cream and miso ice cream! Next time I would like to stay at a ryokan!

It was a very nice restaurant as it was recommended by Mr. Tokumitsu, an honest man, and was run directly by the hotel. The meat in the Yakiniku Gozen I ordered was tender, there were plenty of vegetables, and it was topped with chawanmushi bean paste, which was very delicious. The customer service is friendly and pleasant, both veterans and young people, so you can feel at ease. You can also take a bath at the inn at a discounted rate of ¥1000. The rhododendron flowers were beautiful in the garden. Next time I would like to have a course meal.

I had a lovely experience. It is fall colors are at peak right now up here. I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for many years and finally had the opportunity. There were some groups when I arrived around noon but I went to the hotel onsen first. By the time I returned, there was only one group there with me, so I could enjoy the serenity and a delicious meal. I got the tempura don (over rice). it came with a nice salad some hardy miso soup and what tasted like homemade or locally made pickles. The ladies who served me were. One of them spoke to English if you visit the you get ¥600 back on the price of your lunch I’d like to come back here sometime for dinner. I also want to spend the night or two at the hotel. It feels like a local charming place. It is shocking how close I am right now to Tokyo but I feel like I am in a completely other world. Reminds me more of Nagano, Tochigi, Gunma, or even Tōhoku than the hills of western Saitama. The biggest advantage that places out here have is that there is no train line which is remarkable for an area this close to Tokyo. On the other hand, I count that as a plus because it means there is a lot less tourism. There is a bus, but it doesn’t get you everywhere. I most people I see traveling around here seem to be driving their own cars. I have seen some folks who get around by the local bus as well but they were a lot younger more like backpackers. I for one feel grateful that this little valley is here and that there’s so many charming places like this one. I highly recommend you check it out. SPRING UPDATE: I was finally able to come for dinner and it was a lovely experience. Cherry blossoms were at their peak and it wasn’t too crowded because I came on a Tuesday night after a big rain storm had passed. It was still somewhat chilly and a little bit windy, but everything was lovely. I ordered the Unagi, which was fantastic—I felt well taken care of. I’m sure to come back someday to try the charcoal grilled steak experience. I’ll make sure that I am very hungry for that one! This has to be one of the nicest restaurants in the Naguri area and I am grateful to have now been here twice. thanks and see you next time!

Even though there were empty seats, I couldn't get anyone to let me in. However, there is time to wait. There's no ping pong, so even if you call, the staff won't come.Even the first order drinks were served slowly. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I thought the food finally arrived, but due to a mistake in my order, other items arrived. Also, I didn't want to wait for 30 minutes, so I ate it, but the waiter just said ``Excuse me'' and charged me a high price. Is it a scam?(It's not the menu in the photo that made the mistake.)How could you mishear something like that? I laugh.Other people ate charcoal-fired food, but the room wasn't ventilated enough to turn white, even after taking a hot spring bath. It became.Of course, there is no service of refilling the tea.Because of the poor service of the staff, even if the atmosphere and food are good, it doesn't taste delicious.I was angry with the female staff member, so I wrote a long review.I don't recommend it to anyone.

It was supposed to be during business hours, but I entered the store and was made to leave without a word or explanation. The customers who entered immediately after that continued to enter.I never thought that in the Reiwa era, people would be exposed to the same kind of discrimination that was unique to the Showa era. This is an old-fashioned endangered species store.

I have repeated it several times. I would like to clarify things that are difficult to understand. As mentioned in other people's reviews, it says 2:30 pm, but this is the time for one item or simple soba noodles. If you are planning to order a set meal or yakiniku, etc., the best time to go is at 1pm. It's true that you might be confused if you come in without knowing anything.Reservations only at night. You can take a day trip bath first and then have a meal afterwards. In this case, if you have the receipt, the menu will be refunded. There are certainly some parts that are difficult to understand, so it would be best to contact the hotel in advance.

14:30 last orderCloses at 15:00Arrived around 2:15pm.A veteran-looking female waiter tells me that I can only order soba noodles. No, I wonder why they can only serve soba even though it's before the last order. . .I think it would be better to change the last order time.

I went at the recommendation of a friend. On that day, I had a plan in the morning, and the plan was to have a lunch menu with a bath ticket included, so I would eat rice and then take a bath.In conclusion, the customer service of the elderly female staff at Yama Chaya was the worst. As mentioned in the recent reviews, the customer service was like a tengu and it was as if they were refusing customers at first glance.I entered the restaurant around 1:25 p.m., but perhaps because it was too much of a hassle, I was simply told, "We cannot serve menus that use charcoal." There's still time until the last order, right? Everyone please be careful. In the end, I could only choose from the cheapest options.I also didn't understand the system well, so when I asked a question, the answer was, "Aren't you staying overnight? We're an inn, after all," as if to say that if you're planning on having lunch and taking a bath, please go home. If so, I think it would be a good idea to abolish such menus. The recent bad reviews are probably from the same person. If you're going to judge customers based on their clothes and belongings, why not set a dress code?Even though I'm such an expensive person, cooking and taking a bath aren't that big of a deal. The interior was beautiful, but the staff and customer service were terrible. If you like, let's stay the next time! As I said, I will never go there again. I didn't feel like taking any pictures of the food. I am very sorry.

A little while ago, I stopped by to eat soba. When you eat soba, you can enjoy it in the summer or even in the snowy winter in Tohoku.I'm eating cold soba noodles. If you order mori soba at this restaurant,“Is that all? ” he said.I didn't use green onions or wasabi.I'm a person who likes to only eat soba noodles without seaweed even if I only have a colander, so I ordered the mori soba, which was the cheapest. Is that something wrong?
