I stayed here while also visiting Fujinomiya Sengen Taisha Shrine. Even though I made a reservation for a family of 6, the room was very spacious and comfortable. The bath was built like a home bath, but it was spacious and both the bathtub and the Lory sauna were made of wood and clean. The meal was only for breakfast, but it was very delicious, and the local rainbow trout was piping hot and delicious. The location was about 10 minutes walk from Fujinomiya Station and about 3 minutes walk from Fujinomiya Sengen Taisha Shrine. The entire building was filled with the scent of wood, and I was able to stay in an environment that I rarely experience. The hostess was very kind and welcoming, so we received the best hospitality on a lively, large family trip.

Warm welcome from the hotel team and such a pleasant stay. So delighted to enjoy the games, food, drinks, books and smell of wood there. Team is great enough to help us with restaurant booking and even guide us there in person. They also suggest on where to view mount Fuji! And we even get to know more about their furniture~Quiet and peaceful district to walk around and we definitely want to return!!!

Vacation rental of a whole building near Fujinomiya Sengen Taisha Shrine. It seems to be run by an architecture and custom-made furniture company, and like the showroom, plenty of local wood is used. The private sauna was produced by ``Shikiji no Musume'' and is so comfortable you'll almost fall asleep. Many rental houses like this are unmanned, but this one has a very high level of hospitality, with staff staying until 8:30pm to help you, even though there is only one building. The free-flowing alcoholic beverages and tea sweets were also made from locally sourced ingredients, which clearly conveyed the company's desire to liven up the city of Fujinomiya.Although Mt. Fuji looks beautiful, it is not as crowded with tourists as Lake Kawaguchi, so I thought it would be a good base for sightseeing in Mt. Fuji. That being said, as a base for sightseeing, it seems to be rated as expensive compared to other accommodations, but if you look at Mt. Fuji as a rental property with a beautiful private sauna, I think it's extremely reasonable.Breakfast seemed to be prepared by a nearby restaurant, but it was very delicious, and although dinner wasn't included, there was a Fujinomiya Yakisoba restaurant within walking distance that was really good.
