we stayed for two nights near the end of our month long stay in Japan and must say this was one of our highlights. Our host was incredible! She picked us up from the train station, took us to the supermarket and dropped us back when it was time to leave with a packed lunch. Organised us various activities including a trip to the waterfall and a sauna + ice bath combo. The included breakfast was some of the best we've had in Japan. Would recommend to anyone who would like to do something a little off the beaten path :)

Me and two friends enjoyed a rejuvenating stay in this traditional japanese house in the mountain. We came for one night, bringing snacks and drinks and had a little party as part of our two days of tourism and hiking around Nara and Mie. The rooms were newly renovated, very clean, warm and cozy. The bed was so comfortable, breakfast was amazing, and the air was fresh. The living room where we had breakfast was beautiful too, with many objects to look at! I would love to come back with friends or family again! It really made our trip special!

I visited this inn when I was feeling a bit mentally depressed. My request was to relax and relax deep in the mountains of Misugi while looking at the starry sky, but unfortunately it was raining heavily on the day I went and it was so dark that I couldn't see any stars. 😇Anyway, I was feeling depressed, so coming here was a bit of a change of pace. The bed in the 2 bedroom was very comfortable on a summer day.Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, but the next morning the rain stopped and we were able to enjoy the meal prepared by the owner outside. The Kamado rice was very delicious. I was able to gain power by consuming everything with my companions. I want to go again, this time for 2 or 3 nights.

A relaxing night spent with the owner's warm personality and two cute dogs, Momo-chan and Azuki-chan.BBQ while looking at the starry sky.Barbecue stoves and smokers can be borrowed free of charge. The bonfire set is an additional 1000 yen, but we encourage you to rent one and enjoy the bonfire.I don't need anything. I wanted to keep looking at the fire.It was amazing to eat Camembert cheese on long skewers and roast it over a bonfire. You can find almost anything at Mega Donki, so it's a pain to buy everything there. The room is clean and has fluffy futons, and when you wake up in the morning, you are greeted by the green earth and the morning sun.Breakfast also has a lot of side dishes.Above all, I was given the opportunity to chop firewood and have a hagama meal.I've never experienced anything like this.I was impressed that people in the past ate such delicious food. After checking out, we went to see the waterfall.I would be happy if I could live in such great nature. As I continued to avoid crowds due to the coronavirus pandemic, I truly thought that life in the mountains was wonderful.Even though I met the kind owner for the first time, I felt nostalgic, like I was visiting a relative's house. An inn full of hospitality. I would like to recommend it.
