You can forget about everyday life and spend a quiet time surrounded by nature. There are many people like me, so everyone is spending their time quietly and in their own way.At night, the starry sky makes you feel like you are facing the universe. On the other hand, my opponent was nature, and I was attacked by a gnat. When I used it in the first half of July, I was attacked by numerous fly-like insects that gathered under my knees. It's probably a gnat. I was disappointed once again. I had taken precautions by wearing denim, socks, and boots, but something happened. The deer bath in the back has a great atmosphere, but it is also a meeting place for black flies and horseflies.Even though I can still manage to take my clothes off and enter, I can't get up once I'm inside. Fortunately, it was night and there weren't many people around, so I ran back to my tent half-naked and soaking wet, feeling sorry for myself and wondering what I was doing all by myself.Still, it's my favorite campground.250 yen for adults, riders who travel long distances may want to take a breather here.

The hurdles are high: vehicles are not allowed, there are no lights, and although there is some tap water, it is not drinkable because it is from a stream, but I liked the rustic location, with deer flocking around the grounds. Business will end on September 31st in 2024.

I visited for the first time in a few years, but it felt like it was about to close. Even during the Obon season, it was an unmanned campsite with only about 4 people in mountain tents and no caretaker. Previously, a generator was running, but there was no electricity in the toilets or kitchen. All the water is like stream water. The toilets also do not have water supplied to the flush tank, so you have to pump water into a bucket and flush it yourself. The cart used for transportation also had a flat tire and I felt that it was not being used. The deer bath in the back is also full of moss and doesn't seem to be cleaned as regularly as before. There is no cell phone service either, so this is a campsite where the users are completely selective. This is the best campsite for people who don't mind the inconvenience because they can enjoy nature to the fullest. PS: Be careful because there was a beehive being made on the roof of the kitchen.

A quiet and relaxing small campsiteThe price is 250 yenThe toilet has a simple flush system where you draw water and flush it yourself. You can't drink the water at the water fountain unless you boil it.However, there is a mountain stream nearby, where you can fish, and there is also a wild hot spring called Shika-no-yu, which is great. If you are a family, you might be a little dissatisfied.great for soloI had high hopes for a nearby group of hot springs, but they were closed to traffic and had been buried, so there weren't any left.Isn't this the highlight of this place? Am I the only one who thinks so?Maybe I can't manage it, but I didn't want it to go away.It was disappointing, so I deducted a few points.

The road to the campsite is about 1km of gravel. However, since it is a straight slope, the difficulty level is low.Mobile phone reception is completely out of reachRecommended when you want to do a decidal detox

Although there is no signal at the campsite, which is far from the countryside, you can take a 5-minute walk from the campsite to the wild hot spring "Shika-no-Yu" along the river. You can use it without a reservation, and the cost is 250 yen for camping, and 100 yen for the hot springs because it's a hot spring.Deer came out near the place where we pitched our tents, and it felt like a camping site that was quite close to nature. After putting food and cooked dishes in odor-proof plastic, I put them all in a waterproof bag and kept them a little away from the tent. The toilets are Japanese-style, and the urinals are the same, but you drink the water yourself and flush it down. The tap water comes from a mountain stream, so there is a sign that says to boil it before drinking. It was a very luxurious campsite for me, as I was able to relax and camp deep in the mountains, and even take a bath in the hot springs. The next day, we were soaking wet from the rain, and although the river was too high to enter Shika-no-Yu, it was still a nice place to relax.
