Visited at Yamakatsu eventA hot spring facility located in the mountains. The hot springs are colorless and transparent, have no odor, and are gentle on the skin. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the valley below from the public bath, so you can relax while admiring the scenery. There is also a sauna and a bedrock bath where you can work off a lot of sweat. However, there is an additional charge for the bedrock bath, and men cannot use it unless accompanied by a woman. There is also a restaurant attached, so you can enjoy a meal after taking a bath.It seems like a lot of locals frequent this place and they are friendly and talk to you.

It is a memorable place that I have visited many times since I was a child. I know the situation is difficult due to the coronavirus pandemic, but I hope it will reopen.

In the past, I used to use the day trip bath frequently. It was a little expensive at 800 yen back then, but it was in a convenient location, so I used it when I wanted a little luxury. However, when I went there a while ago for the first time in a while, the price had gone up to 990 yen, and the shampoo and body soap were in sachets, so I didn't feel very good about it. The service was also less friendly than in the past, and the inside of the building was dark, probably to save electricity. Satisfaction level is quite low for the price.Having used it so many times, I am saddened by its deterioration. You can see the Yugawa River from the open-air bath, but I don't think it's particularly valuable as it's not a particularly beautiful river. Unfortunately, it's goodbye.
