Thank you for your help during my solo trip this winter. I had been wanting to stay at this inn for a while now, and I was able to make a reservation, so I was excited even before I left.It is close to Kitahama Station (the station closest to the Sea of Okhotsk), which I have visited before. When I woke up in the morning in February, I could see the drift ice field and Kitahama Station in a blizzard from my room window. I was very moved by seeing drift ice for the first time in my life.I went to the observation deck of the station to watch the first train arrive in the morning. My hands went numb in no time. There are many wild birds in the sky. Steller's sea eagles, white-tailed eagles, and swans were flying through the snowstorm. A pure white world of drift ice spreads out below you. It was a memory I will never forget. The weather gradually improved on this day and became sunny in the afternoon.Whether the weather was nice or there was a blizzard, the scenery of the drift ice was still amazing in both cases. It felt even more terrifying when there was a blizzard.Breakfast is bread. It's good to have a sense of travel in return for being simple. I signed up for an icefall and eagle viewing tour by snowshoeing, and the scenery at Cape Notoro was spectacular. I felt the owner's love for eagles as he talked about the ecology of eagles in detail. I'm glad I joined the tour. In the quiet forest, I stepped on the crisp snow with my snowshoes, and the small river flowing beside me made me feel at ease, and it was a pleasant time. The onion soup and sweets in front of the ice fall were truly delicious, and it warmed my body after walking on an unfamiliar snowy path.I'm a fan of the owner's blog. I found it very helpful on this trip. thank you very much.

Thank you for taking care of me on my trip around the East Railway Road. thank you very much.It's really beautiful and the host is very kind.A few minutes walk from the station. The Ramsar Convention lake is also nearby and can be reached within the time it takes to get to the train. Perfect for a morning walk.It is difficult to get off at the famous Kitahama Station due to the number of trains on the Senmo Main Line, but you can enjoy it here without any problems. Kitahama Station at dusk was beautiful with the night view of Abashiri city in the background.The only bath I had was a shower, so I took a bath at the Shari Green Onsen, which is a short walk from Shiretoko-Shari Station, and then went to the inn (please use this as reference for your trip).

I participated in an eagle and drift ice observation tour for two days and one night.It's a very clean accommodation.Also, the owner was very knowledgeable and talked to me about various things about eastern Hokkaido.I think it would be a waste to just stay overnight, so please try taking a tour as well.I look forward to visiting you again in a different season. thank you very much.

It was a wonderful stay. It's about 2 minutes from Kitahama Station, and the sea is very close to the inn.Since the name of the inn is Eagle's Perch, I think you should definitely apply for a tour. His love for eagles was clearly conveyed.I also think it's a good place to stay to watch the sunrise.

Although it is a small inn with only two rooms, it is conveniently used as a base for bird watching from Lake Mokoto and Lake Tofutsu to Koshimizu and Shari.There are also books on nature and the husband's advice on observation.The service is simple, but there is a Seicomart nearby so it's not inconvenient.This is a recommended inn where you can easily stay at a reasonable price.

It's easily accessible, about a 5-minute walk from the station (of course, I think most people come by renting a car... so did I)There was also a convenience store nearby, so it was very convenient.The sight of the sun rising on the horizon in the morning was so beautiful.The owner was also friendly and had a good impression.It was off-season when I went, so I was the only one staying there, so I stayed comfortably.

It felt very clean.There was no TV in the room, so it was very quiet and comfortable as I don't watch much TV.If you are planning to take photos at Lake Tofutsu or Koshimizu Primeval Flower Garden, the location may be good.Washrooms are sharedThere is no bathhouse. Shower only.Dinner is not provided, so we recommend purchasing at the nearby Seicomart.

It is within walking distance from Kitahama Station.There are two rooms, and each room has its own toilet and shower room (the passage leading to the room is a shared space).The building and the rooms on the second floor are fairly new. It looked like. When I asked the owner, he said it was built 10 years ago, but it was well maintained and looked like it was new.There is a common room on the first floor, and if you have someone staying with you, you can talk there.This time I asked for a guided eagle tour. I was able to see it safely.Also, the Senmo Line was temporarily disrupted due to snow, but they checked on the situation and emailed me each time, which was really helpful.I think this is a good inn where you can stay cheaply in the Abashiri area.
