The river is right in front of you, and the flow and depth are just right, and the water is clean, so it's a great campground to go to with your kids in the summer.

It's seriously the best! Reservations can only be made by email. However, the river in front of me is beautiful. Great for summer! It seems like the manager is always there, so I feel safe. I'm on patrol with my cute dog. There are riverside sites and forest sites, but the riverside site is definitely recommended.

This campsite is located in a forest area and is recommended for summer.Campgrounds at low altitudes are too hot in midsummer...This campground is located in a forest of cedar trees, with the Hiki River flowing right in front of you, making it relatively comfortable and not too hot even in midsummer. If you have good distance between trees, a hammock is recommended. This is a way to care for your hair that gives you a nice sense of nature. It may not be suitable for those who want a high-quality campsite with super clean toilets, no fallen stones, and grassy sites, which have been increasing in recent years.I think it's a good place for people who have been camping a few times and are getting used to it.The Hioki River that flows in front of the campsite has some parts where the current is gentle and some where it is gentle, so it can be enjoyed by children from small children to upper grades. The Hiki River is home to sweetfish and amago, so you can also enjoy fishing. However, please note that if you wish to go fishing, you will need to purchase a fishing ticket issued by the Hioki River Fisheries Association. It's not inconvenient as there are gas stations, supermarkets, roadside stations, highly rated cafes, and the Kumano Kodo nearby. You can take a bath at the nearby Iris Auto Campground, or go a little further to Watase Onsen and Kawayu Onsen.
