I made a reservation and visited at a discounted price including a large bath in February before the hotel opened. The location was easy to find, and most of all, the view of Ueno Park was fantastic. The rooms were spacious for a Japanese hotel, and the amenities were varied and good. I recommend it~

The location is very good for Ueno, only within 5 mins walk to the Skyliner station. The other metro stations are less than 3mins walk and it has 7-11 and Lawson close by.The amenities are located at ground level and you can wash your clothes using the coin laundry machines. Our room is overseeing the lotus pond.Room is specious with little kitchen, 2 double size beds and you can operate the aircon temperature!Highly recommend for families traveling to Ueno

& here was an amazing hotel to stay in, everything from the friendly and helpful staff to the continent cafe located on the first floor. Close to so many stations and places to eat. Room was very spacious and clean. Our daughter enjoyed her morning bento boxes from the cafe. Would highly recommend staying here if you have kids as there is a lot to do locally. Thank you again to & here and the staff you made our holiday even more memorable.

Since it opened less than a year ago, the rooms are in very clean condition. Since I came as a family with my parents and children, I prioritized a large bath, spacious rooms, and a convenient location for sightseeing in downtown Tokyo. Our room had a bunk bed, a set of blankets, and a tatami area, so it was good for 5 people to stay. There was a small kitchen and a spacious refrigerator, so it was great to prepare simple meals. Tableware, crockery, and induction stove are also provided. The large public bath is on the top floor, so it has a nice view and the water is really nice. I didn't use it haha. There is no cold spring and it is not big. It's nice because it has an open-air bath and a view of Ueno Park! HahaThe unfortunate thing is that it takes a day or two to get used to the bunker bed. I hit my head a few times. I think it would be good to attach something like a sponge bar to the metal part to prevent head bumps. It's a bit painful because it's a steel frame. The staff are very friendly and responsive. Breakfast is a simple Japanese lunch box with a designated menu for each day of the week and must be requested in advance the day before. If you order a lunch box, you can bring your own rice, curry, and miso soup (self-made). You can eat plenty even if you don't order according to the number of people. The view was not good. Although I could see Ueno Park, I could see more of the back of the building next door, so it was difficult to keep the window curtains open. Another floor or another room might be better, but since the check-in system is a kiosk, you need to discuss room assignment in advance. I made a reservation for this kiosk through a reservation site, but I can't confirm it with the reservation number at once.I stayed for a total of 4 nights, but I didn't know about the 3rd day, but the noise between floors was very loud on the last day. I wonder if it was a family room on the upper floor too...I could hear running and banging noises until 10pm, so it was disturbing. Of course, it is the fault of the guests staying upstairs, but for now, I will leave out the factors that hinder your stay. The subway station is easily accessible within a 10-minute walk, and there are convenience stores, Don Quijote supermarkets, and many good restaurants. There are a lot of women soliciting customers, but they don't bother me, so I think you can just get by. It's a bit embarrassing for the kids.

Hotel was exceptional and staff went above and beyond to help with luggage forwarding during a typhoon to ensure it would arrive on time. Highly recommend, very family friendly.

The check-in and check-out automation system is not efficient. If the guest takes the time to check in and all the information they provided is stuttered at the end and says "Please go to the front desk," it is useless. It would be nice if there were updates or process improvements.

The hotel itself is very nice.Well equipped, clean and friendly. And the room was spacious. However, the area around the hotel is such an entertainment district that it is embarrassing to even go out for a meal with young children in the evening. You can think of Bukchang-dong in Seoul. It is an alley where restaurants and entertainment venues come together. It’s just Bukchang-dong.This is the best hotel to stay with children, but it is located in a neighborhood where you can't walk with your children. If you are visiting with children, we recommend that you only go towards the front entrance.Again, the hotel itself is perfect

Great hotel opposite Ueno Park away from the main hussle of Tokyo but short walk to the Ginza line to easily get around. Our particular room didnt have the best view though. The rooms themselves were very good size with lots of space, the beds and bunks were extremely comfortable to sleep in. Probably the best on our trip to Japan out of the 5 hotels we stayed in. Bunks were very solid that kids will love aswell.Only thing that I would ideally like was having a washing/drying machine in room would make this perfect as some other hotels with smaller rooms actually had. Washing/drying cost 700Yen each time. Also be nice if the toilet light wasnt automatic turn on, especially in the middle of the night. Having a manual switch would've been good.Breakfast options could've better better considering they had a small cafe there and a bit cumbersome ordering/paying from the front desk rather than the cafe itself.
