I used it on a motorcycle trip in July 2024.・Free campsite・Toilet and kitchen available・No shower (15 minutes by bike)There was a drop-in hot spring at a business hotel near the place.)It is located on the shore of Lake Abashiri, and the sunset is very beautiful. Many riders were camping. This is a campground where we want everyone to stay and follow the rules.

I use it while driving around Hokkaido.Free camping site with no registration required. The sunset over Lake Abashiri is beautiful! The toilets are sometimes a bit disappointing as there are a lot of people using them.I would like to thank the local people who manage it and use it.

A city called Abashiri! If you have a car or bike, there is a nearby free campsite. Moreover, you can ride a motorcycle!wonderful! There are chain restaurants, supermarkets, hardware stores, Hyakuyen and a decent coin laundry nearby, and you can even do Shiretoko sightseeing from here. The bathroom situation is a little disappointing. There are several restaurants nearby, but the reviews are mixed. Fortunately, there are many highly rated and inexpensive hot springs in Shari, Fatsugen, Koshimizu, and Kussharo Lakeshore, so if you go sightseeing with a bathing kit, you may end up having such unpleasant experiences by using the nearby baths. There's no reason at all!The Abashiri Main Line is close to the tracks and along the main road, so the traffic noise is quite loud. But if your iron content is high, it might be irresistible (lol)I guess there were a lot of earwigs. The parking lot at the entrance to the campground is a little small. Despite this, there are some people who use large wagons to cover up signboards and information boards, and others who park their cars in such a way as to block the new entrance for motorcycles and bicycles into the campsite, so it is difficult to tell on your first visit. If you don't have one, please be careful. There was no Rakuten Mobile signal, so I had to use au roaming.

It's a good free campsite, but most of the people with cars are sitting in the old covered garbage storage area.Honestly it's a nuisance
