From the moment you walk in, Myoko Forest Lodge and it's staff radiate nothing but warmth, style and comfort. Rooms are cozy, modern, and tastefully decorated with quality linens, and large windows for viewing snowfall from the bed! The common area is very welcoming with the roaring fire and comfortable couches perfect for post ski relaxing with a glass of red, or kickstarting the powder days with a delicious coffee. Chef prepared breakfasts were tasty and the DIY Japanese Inori BBQ dinners were a highlight for us! The ski legs were also very thankful to the gorgeous mineral bath facilities. Thankyou to Chereyne, Brett and team for your wonderful hospitality, advice, driving, and cooking! We had an amazing stay and can't wait to return in the future!

Staying at Myoko Forrest Lodge was a delight. The lodge dining and lounge room, with the beautiful japanese iori bbq dining table was unique, cosy and comfortable. Open fireplace, comfy lounges, and the most beautiful combination japanese Western food coming from the kitchen of host and chef Chereyne.Breakfast in the mornings was also the best breakfast that I we have had in any of the lodges in Japan (and yes, that's quite a few).Whilst not a ski in ski out lodge, I would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay. I think having skiied the 5 resorts of Myoko that you would not like to tie yourself to one of them for an entire stay anyway. It was lovely being nestled in the forest and taking small snowshoeing walks along the creek.I would also like to thank our hosts for their dedication to getting us powder skis and a powder day at Lotte Arrai on our last day. It was an exceptionally fun day and would not have happened without Chereynes use of all her local contacts and knowledge to sort us all out at the last minute. We will definitely be back.

Thank you Chereyne, Brett and team for welcoming us to your beautiful lodge, we loved every minute of it! We specially enjoyed the yummy breakfasts and dinners (make sure to try out their traditional Irori BBQ), the coziness of the lodge with eye for every detail and the on-site relaxing mineral baths. With so many ski resorts close by, the location is perfect for ski-fanatics. Brett would help us decide which resort was best for that day and the drop off/pick up was always super easy. Hope to be back one day!

We loved our experience at Myoko Forest Lodge - we will definitely go back. The location was fantastic - in the forest within driving distance to 5 or 6 different ski areas and a short drive to town if you need. …

Fantastic experience~! This place is such a gem. I wasn’t prepared for the experience I was going to have staying here. From the warm staff to the incredibly fresh food, and even the attention to detail to incorporate modern design with traditional Japanese elements, the lodge gives you a true cozy vibe to enjoy with family and friends. 10/10 easy and will be back!
