A hot spring located at the end of a mountain road that can be called a secret hot spring in Iwate. We will go further into the mountains than Natsuyu Plateau. There are narrow roads with sharp curves that make it difficult to pass each other, and depending on the season, driving can be difficult. This hot spring is closed for a limited time during the winter. It's in the mountains, so it's recommended during the fall foliage season, but in the summer there are flies and bees. Stink bugs in autumn. There seem to be insects depending on the season, so if you're not good with insects, I think it's best to avoid it. There is also a sloping path along the stream to the open-air bath, and there are stairs to reach the room, so it may be difficult for elderly people who have trouble walking.Basically, there are no toilets or baths in the rooms, but there are a few rooms on the third floor that have baths and toilets, but please note that there are no elevators and there are stairs. The excitement of an adventure down the slope of a stream in search of the reservation-only open-air bath ``Shintaro-no-Yu'' and the feeling of openness in nature, with only a partition for changing clothes, and a relaxing bath while listening to the sound of the stream. It was great. The quality of the spring water is smooth. A gozen dinner rich with mountain fruits and homemade plum wine. A variety of local alcoholic beverages. It was a good amount of rice. There seems to be a hot spring treatment club, but it's a nice hot spring that you'll want to stay for a long time, although there are some places that are selective.

At r5.10/29Bathing fee ¥700Motoyu is famous, but this one also feels like a secret hot spring. You can enjoy a mountain stream in the open air and a traditional, retro wooden bath in the indoor bath. The quality of the spring water seems to be different between the two, so it's a good deal. The hair dryer and washing area are only available in the indoor bath, so it might be a good idea to enter the outdoor bath first and then the indoor bath.On the way, I learned that there was a private open-air bath, so I asked about it and found out that there were reservations available, and that a separate fee of 300 yen was required, and the bathing time was 30 minutes. It's boiling over so I'll do it again next time. There is a footbath outside, a restaurant and free lockers.

Open-air bath! If you go down about 200 meters, you will find it along the river. Is the temperature around 40℃? It's just right. Fee: 700 yen. For an additional 300 yen, you can use the other open-air baths and indoor hot springs. Bath towels can be rented for 250 yen. This time of year, you can see the autumn leaves, and it might be the best while looking at the river view.
