It was a hotel with a great view of Lake Gosho and Mt. Iwate from the lobby and rooms.Although we overlapped with the students on the school trip at a large hotel, we did not overlap in the dining and bathing areas. I was surprised by this consideration. The room was a Japanese-style room, but it was comfortable with a bottomless mattress. There were no issues other than the pillows being too soft. The dinner half buffet was very satisfying. The breakfast was also better than I expected and I thought it would be a good idea to stay for several nights. Partitions for each table in the dining hall allowed guests to enjoy their meals without worrying about other people's eyes. There is also an open-air hot spring bath where you can relax.I was left with a good impression of the staff's response, and I was able to see that all staff members were always paying attention to the customers and being considerate. There was not a single staff member who spoke privately. I think this level of comfort is great for a hotel of this size. For the past few years, I have chosen lodgings with fewer guest rooms, but when I returned home, my husband and I realized that it was not about the number of guest rooms. The price was reasonable, so I would definitely like to visit again.

First of all, it was a wonderful accommodation that I will definitely come back to again. It was my first time staying there and everything was wonderful, I have nothing to complain about.Even though it was the same Tsunagi Onsen, everything about it was completely different from the inn right next door where I stayed last year. The service from the employees was really great, and every time we passed each other in the building, they always stopped to give us a nod and say hello, and that's true of all the employees we met.The hospitality and response from the young man at the front desk was excellent. The interior of the hotel is elegant and luxurious, spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and quite spacious, the windows were clean, and we enjoyed the spectacular view from the upper floors. The tatami mats were also new and comfortable. The hot springs are clean and well-maintained, and there are two hot springs for men and women, which are rotated every day.The hot springs flowing directly through the water felt really nice and made me feel luxurious.Dinner was a luxurious Kaiseki meal, and there was quite a lot of it, and the sashimi and abalone were delicious.I was full from just the Kaiseki meal, but I had to try the half buffet as well, and the pudding was especially delicious, so I ended up eating three of them.It was my first time having a kaiseki meal + half buffet, but there was no time limit and I was able to sit down and eat slowly until the end of the meal, so I really enjoyed it.Breakfast was also of a fairly high standard. The venue was spacious, there was a wide variety of items, and everything was delicious, so I was able to enjoy it slowly. The live performance of Sansa Odori was also great, and it got me in the mood for traveling. My only request was to have an air purifier with a humidifying function in the room.I think it would be difficult to have a humidifier in a full-fledged Japanese-style room, so I would like to get an air purifier as well.I will definitely stay again next year during the matsutake season, so I wish all the employees the best of luck and I am rooting for them from the bottom of my heart. It was a wonderful inn that I really wanted to support.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and there was a shuttle bus so I was able to see the Sansa dance here. It was such a wonderful dance that I felt sorry for watching it for free.

I loved this place. Feels like a ryokan but has all the hotel amenities. There is a large onsen and a family onsen. Breakfast and dinner are in a large restaurant called Tenga. They serve authentic Japanese foods and the breakfast part is a buffet. It is a 20 minute drive from Morioka central but the rooms provide a great view of Mt Iwate and Gosho lake. Look out for the traditional Japanese performance in the lobby at 8pm.

It's a matter of personal preference, but I think the accommodation is more than worth the price, including the food and hot springs.(Because I like small, rustic inns 😅)

Hot springs and food👍At night, we watched the Morioka Sansa dance in the lobby, sang some songs at the karaoke snack, and ate ramen. A fun hot spring hotel.
