In early May, 4 adults stayed in a cottage with 4 single beds. There were a lot of insects and it was chilly outside, so we didn't have a barbecue, but there were four adults having a barbecue at the cottage next door.You can use the hot spring for free at the hot spring center across the street, but it is only open from 10:00 to 19:00, so it is difficult to enter and enjoy it multiple times. There is no hot spring inside, but there is a bus, so I think this is sufficient. 12,000 yen per night is a great cost performance 👍 I will use it again.

1 night stay on 20240309After checking in, head to the hot springs, which are free for cottage guests.Shinyu Onsen is the best no matter how many times I go.Snow was shoveled around the cottage.The cottage was very clean and I felt comfortable.The kitchen area is stocked with cooking utensils, plates, cups, etc., so it's not an inconvenience.There are also towels around the bath.I wonder if the futon is fluffy. There are two gas stoves for heating, so it's not cold at all.The sofa is falling apart and my butt hurts a bit.

As for the facilities, we couldn't have asked for more. As detailed on the website, cutlery, dishwashing detergent and sponges are also available. There are also snow shovels and snow brooms.The amount of snowfall is about 2m. When it snows, backhoes are used frequently to remove snow.The hot spring exchange center is a few minutes walk away. Early check-in is not possible.Please note that if you wish to have an outdoor barbecue, you must decline the request at check-in. There is a large can where you can throw away the ashes.The adjacent garden was a wonderful snowfield. This season's snowfall has been light, so I managed to keep it under control, but if there's a lot of fresh snow, I won't be able to keep up with it, and I might be buried up to my waist. I want to come back both in the snowy season and in the summer.
