Used when traveling alone during ObonA retro Showa inn that retains the precious Showa atmosphere😌Although I can't say that the appearance is beautiful,Although the inn is old, it is kept very clean. The air conditioning and heating equipment in the toilet and bathroom had also been updated to the latest ones, which was great. The food was served in the room for dinner and breakfast, and it was simple but really delicious. And now it's a rare drink to keep in the refrigerator (paid later).Permanent table tennis table❗️Some bathrooms are available for private use, and others are open 24 hours a day.And the Showa retro atmosphere will soothe you...🤤Also, when I checked out, it was during the busy breakfast time. The proprietress waved at us until the car was out of sight, and it was a truly relaxing inn from beginning to end.I definitely want to go again ❗️ It was such a ryokan!! ️

I was traveling alone in a 6-tatami Japanese-style room, but I was able to relax in two hot springs and eat breakfast and dinner in my room. The bottled beer in the refrigerator in the room was also an incredible 500 yen. Nishiwaga is an area with heavy snowfall, so coming in the winter is risky, but if you go in the early fall, you'll be surrounded by nature. There are no convenience stores, but there is one supermarket that seems to be quite popular with everything from bento boxes to sashimi at very low prices. The only thing is that no matter how many times I stay, the dinner lineup is always the same. If you want to change it up, you can add two sake snacks for an additional 500 yen. It varies depending on the season, but squid somen, beef tongue, homemade sausage, etc. are included.

Sodium-chloride/sulfate springColorless and transparent, uses circulation filtration device (to equalize temperature inside the bathtub), chlorine disinfectionMixed bathing available (closed in winter)This is a small, family-run inn, and we received a warm welcome. The rice was delicious with lots of mushrooms used in the morning and evening. You can go by bus from Hottoyuda Station.

I'm already a fan of Nishiwaga Town's hot springs. This time, I came to Tohoku to see the autumn leaves, and chose Shinseikan from my list of accommodations I would like to stay at.In conclusion, of course I'm satisfied.・The TV in the room is huge.It was a large room of 14 tatami mats. I can wrestle. It would have been better if there was a wide veranda + chair table.・Dinner: Perhaps because there was no fried food, I was able to finish the meal without feeling overwhelmed.Inside the bowl is unexpectedly cooked rice.I love happy fun ❤️The salt-grilled sweetfish was also very delicious (I'm Asako Kishi)・Breakfast: I felt like I wanted something else (natto or fish eggs)It's not bad. The miso soup was made with mushrooms as it was autumnal. This was delicious (probably crunchy)・Bath: The water seems to be circulated to maintain the temperature, and a little chlorine is also added, but I didn't feel it at all.I thought the water was good.・Person: Receptionist and waitress's older sister (landlady?)Is the man a young master?Everyone was very friendly and nice. The landlady even took us outside in the cold to see us off. With this accommodation fee, dinner and breakfast are served in your room. All I can say is that it's amazing.I'm glad I stayed.Dear hot spring inn lovers,Nishiwaga is a treasure trove of good accommodations. If you haven't visited yet, please give it a try.*If you are staying here, we strongly recommend a plan that includes an original evening drink and snacks for drinkers. This time, they are making it at a nearby farm.It came with a delicious beef sausage. It's delicious, delicious, and goes well with beer.I passed out like Inoki after getting an Ax Bomber on the back of the head.【postscript】2024 1/6I came back to stay again. This time I was alone, so the room was a little smaller than last time. But there was a wide veranda, so it wasn't narrow at all. After all, this inn is good.Being able to eat on a set table in your room both morning and night is appealing.Next time I would like to stay for several nights.

Hmm...it's retro in a sense, but the shower hose was full of mold, and at this price, it wouldn't be strange to have three more dishes included, and even the sweetfish and miso soup! ? It's cold, the rice is dry, and I'm in the lowest rank of Kapikapi. I wish you all the best!

At the end of last year, I stayed alone for two nights as a reward for myself. It's not fancy, but it was a great relief for a solo traveler. The calming riverside rooms, the meals served in the morning and evening, and the hospitality of the innkeepers are perfect. I think the cost performance is very high. After checking out, I was impressed to see the landlady waving to me in the light snow falling until I could no longer see my car.

A good old quiet hot spring. The food was also served in the room. It was made with local ingredients and was very nutritious and to my liking. The hot springs, which are open 24 hours a day, have plenty of hot water and are of high quality. The moderate temperature improved my stiff shoulders, neuralgia, and menopausal symptoms. Stroll through the area, which has a nostalgic impression and is dotted with the remains of a time when it was prosperous. The landlady, who my husband used to visit the hot springs every summer for his childhood asthma 50 years ago, is still alive and beautiful.

It was completely different from the outside, but the inside was beautiful. The hot springs were fed directly from the source and were open for 24 hours.According to the reviews, it was said that the open-air bath could be reserved for private use, but since the source water gets lukewarm during the cold season, it is not possible to reserve the open-air bath for private use.Alcohol is not included in the snack set. However, there was beer and sake in the refrigerator in the room, and I paid for it when I checked out.All the meals were delicious. There are a lot of stink bugs by the window of the room...I borrowed duct tape from the landlady and wrapped it up...However, both the landlady and her husband were very friendly people, and I had a very relaxing birthday. It was great to have unlimited access to the hot springs 24 hours a day. I will definitely go again. Be prepared for stink bugs lol
