I stayed here because it was near Tenkawa Benzaiten.As the name suggests, it is located on a steep slope, and the lookout in the morning is very nice.The owner is a former village office employee, so he was kind enough to talk to me about career design, and was kind enough to give me a ride to Shimoichiguchi Station. (Normally, there are three buses a day, and Minami-Nichira bus stop is the closest one.)The rooms are different, with a horigotatsu, a board room, and a tatami room, and during the off-season, the horigotatsu room becomes a free space.There are also connections with musicians and the private library Ruchariburo in Higashiyoshino Village, so I think it would be great to have a book club around the kotatsu in the winter.Dinner and breakfast are carefully prepared using locally sourced ingredients, and baths are also included. This is a guest house where you can have a chat with the owner or relax quietly in your room 😊

The host is knowledgeable about Tenkawa Village, music, and many other things, so you can talk while enjoying the food and nature 😌We talked about recommended spots, restaurants, history, etc. in the village!It seems like musicians come to perform live, and we get to see videos of them, so we get to experience new genres of music, and it's fun to get a glimpse of the person's life.Breakfast is a delicious toast plate with plenty of vegetables for 660 yen!Advance reservations are required for dinner. We were told that there were restaurants near the inn, and there were also restaurants in Dorogawa.The entire inn had been renovated and cleaned thoroughly and was very clean.The room didn't have any analog supplies such as desk, chair, futon, light, drying rack, cushion, fan, etc., so it was nice to have a digital detox.I was able to take a comfortable bath in the Goemon bath.You can feel the greatness of the earth's environment around the inn, such as mountains, nature, the sounds of insects, the sun, and the moon.

A wonderful traditional accomodation. Quiet location with an amazing view and an onsen within walking distance. The place itself is clean and comfortable, a perfect place to relax. The owner is very friendly and happy to assist you with anything you need, including food and drinks (order in advance) and information about events and places in the surrounding area.

Hanjiro is a wondeful host. We really enjoyed our time at his place, which has been great - cozy, clean, feeling as at home. The views were incredible. Hope to be back soon!

This is an old private guest house that has been beautifully renovated and is the best.Although it does not have the facilities of a luxury hotel, it had a cozy and quiet feel, like being welcomed into a local's home.The host is also friendly and interesting.I went with a slightly larger bike, but I was able to park it in front of the eaves. There is also a garage a few minutes walk away.Beef stew for dinner is exquisite!I had too many refills💦It's a hideaway-like inn, and I think people who end up here have some kind of connection.

This inn is an old private house that has been renovated.It was very clean and although it is an old building, I felt comfortable. There are only two guest rooms, so you can spend a quiet and relaxing stay.The location is a little difficult to find and the slope is steep, so we recommend doing some research in advance (especially if you're on a bike).In the morning, I could see the sun rising and the morning mist was beautiful. I was able to feel a refreshing morning for the first time in a while.The owner was also very friendly and I felt at home, like I was visiting a relative's house. I was able to spend a luxurious time.Recommended for resetting your tired daily life.

I was healed by the host's personality.The husband has many hobbies and wide insight,I feel that they have accepted diverse people.It's a renovated private house, so those who are used to hotels may find it different.It's a warm space.We had breakfast in a comfortable room soaking up the sun.It was better than any hotel breakfast❣️
