This inn has been run by the descendants of demons for over 60 generations. I think you can enjoy it by researching the history on the internet before going there. The road to the inn is long, and you can drive 6-7 kilometers from National Route 169, but the road is really rough. There is only one long-distance bus per day that runs along route 169.I think you can think of it as a facility similar to a mountain hut with a high level of service.Because we generate our own electricity, we have electricity until bedtime. There is also a bath, and the toilet flushes. There is no signal, but there is a public phone (the type that holds coins). If you are staying for one night and two meals, you must call the host in advance to make a reservation.I had a chance to talk with the host couple and it was very enjoyable. Now that the next generation has been decided, I hope it will continue for many years to come.By the way, this inn is listed on Golgo 13. (Although the master is killed in the end lol)

A sacred place that feels like a paradise far away from modern facilities and services. The owner, Mr. Goki, also has the air of a hermit, and talking to him makes you feel calm. Even if you don't go up to the top of the mountain, you can still enjoy the special atmosphere just by staying overnight. One night and two meals is 8,000 yen.

The food and baths are surprisingly good. I would like to see the couple here again. Harukeshi Sato.

Flies and ants are different from what we usually know. The rain falling while the sun was shining was different from the usual sky. Not being able to connect to my cell phone is something I'm thankful for, as it's an unusual experience. I would like to see a clear night sky next time. You are sure to encounter some surprising sights. The ohitsu rice, the large pot of miso soup, the stone-floored bath, everything was a blessing.

September 2023. Mt. Shakagatake piston on the Maeki course from Konakabo. This course is not a normal mountain trail, although there are no major dangers. Stairs were installed about 15 years ago, making it somewhat more convenient, but since it was originally an old training path, there are some places where it's difficult to walk. The stairs have also deteriorated in recent years, with some parts collapsing. I think there will be no problem if you have some experience, but you should definitely refrain from climbing only as a beginner. The round trip took 9 hours and 40 minutes including a 2 hour break. It was hot! The actual starting point is 30 minutes walk from Konakabo. The road there is a dead end. I think it can park about 8 cars.
