I happened to have some work to do with a friend in Fukuoka Prefecture, and we asked him to stay at Yoyokaku. When I was asked about the additional dish, ``Pufferfish or Ara?'', I asked for ``Ara.'' …

This was the accommodation I was really looking forward to on this trip. However, it was a very sad and disappointing memory. The inn itself and the garden had a historical feel to it, just as I expected, and were very nice. However, it didn't match its elegant appearance and gave me the impression that it was noisy and unsettling.Apparently a group of older men and women from Kansai were making a fuss during dinner. He was a guest with very bad manners, and when he came to the communal bath after a meal, he made a big fuss as if it were our home. I put my clothes back on and took a bath in my room. Afterwards, we ran into each other in the lounge, again ruining our quiet night. The best part was that they started having a drinking party at the breakfast venue the next day. The very vulgar loud conversations and chewing noises made me feel nauseous. We were forced to sit right next to him and were so shocked that we couldn't even taste the breakfast we had been looking forward to.We couldn't even make a sound, and all we could do was fight back tears from stress and hope that he would finish his meal quickly. The staff didn't pay any attention to me, and they mixed in with the conversation, making it feel like I was at a bar or a snack bar. This is the first time in my life.Couldn't they have at least sent the customers who have been drinking in the morning to a separate room to protect other customers? Why did we have to pay so much money and spend such a nightmarish time? I feel a sense of anger that can't be summed up simply by saying that I'm just unlucky. The buildings and history may certainly be impressive.I would like you to make an effort to provide a service commensurate with that.

I was able to make a flight reservation using last-minute ANA mileage reservations, so I made a reservation the day before and stayed overnight. Therefore, I only stayed for breakfast. As a result, I thought it would be a waste to just have breakfast for one night. This is a wonderful inn that makes you want to stay overnight with two meals included.Facilities are located in a historic and stately building. All the staff are outstanding.I had a great time and felt as if I had taken a trip to Taisho Romance.I was excited just by looking at the breakfast. It was very delicious. In Tokyo, it has a Jisaku-like atmosphere. It made me think, Wow, I've come on a trip.

It was a very valuable experience to be able to spend time in such a wonderful space, with all the concierge staff who warmly welcomed me and the long history of Yoyokaku being carefully passed down from generation to generation. It was well kept and the courtyard was beautiful. I was also impressed that I could see Karatsu Castle.

At my wife's request, we went to see the gallery, and they were very kind and guided us around, and the collection was full of wonderful items, so on the day we left, my wife visited again and asked for three items.

To everyone involved in Yoyokaku,Staying at Yoyo-Yado this time was an unforgettable experience for me.I was impressed by the beauty of the traditional architecture and the clean interior. In particular, the beauty of the internal garden became brighter over time, and it was a joy to discover a new garden look each time the sunlight changed. Also, the warm greetings and friendly smiles from all the staff made me forget the fatigue of my trip and warmed my heart.I heard on the news that a typhoon is currently blowing in that area. I sincerely hope that there is no major damage to Yoyokaku or the local community. Once again, we would like to thank you very much for the excellent service and warm hospitality you provided us throughout this visit.thank you.

We visited the president's house, which is located in a detached house at the back of the inn grounds. It seems that guests can stop by and think of it as a gallery when strolling through the garden. Mr. Chairman, you are over 90 years old, but if you are at home, why not give us a call? The photo was taken of the garden (inn building) from the president's detached house. It has a great atmosphere both during the day and at night.*I did not stay overnight, but only visited the chairman's house for his business.
