Anyway, the food is excellent! The food is made with wild vegetables and river fish collected by the inn, so it has a taste you won't find anywhere else.I've had Yamagata's local cuisine at other hotels, but it was so different that I couldn't believe it was the same thing.

An inn that feels like an old-fashioned hot spring inn nestled on a lake. Washrooms and toilets are shared, and men and women take baths at different times, but the quality of the spring water is smooth and the temperature is just right.Best of all, the dinner is served hot and cold, with a focus on local wild vegetables, salt-grilled char and sashimi, and the seasoning is just right. The fatigue of climbing Mt. Gassan was healed.
