Accommodation at the end of March 2023.This inn is located near Kiyomizu Temple, a famous temple in the mountains of Yasugi City.I thought it was an inn, but it seems to be called a culinary inn.If you request it when making a reservation in advance, you can receive a shuttle from Yasugi Station.(Bus is not recommended as it is inconvenient)As it is said to be a long-established inn, it is a wooden building that gives you a sense of history. The Japanese-style room we were led through also had a certain atmosphere. However, there was no toilet, just a washroom. I'm sorry that the lock is not installed properly lolWhen I checked in, I was given matcha green tea and the famous Shimizu yokan (tea-filled tea).The toilet and washroom outside the room have been renovated in a modern style, so there are no complaints.The bath is somewhat spacious and doesn't have any special features, good or bad.Dinner will be served in your room, and as it is located near a temple, vegetarian cuisine will be served.This dish is very tasteful and does not contain any meat.Creative dishes such as squid imitation and eel imitation dishes taste just as good as the real thing.Other side dishes made with wild vegetables, tempura, and Izumo soba were also very tasty.As expected of a culinary inn.The local sake was ``Gassan'' by Yoshida Sake Brewery.Being close to a temple in the mountains, the surrounding area was quiet and I was able to sleep peacefully at night.Breakfast was served in a separate room.There was also grilled fish, a nutritionally balanced Japanese meal, which was also very delicious.At this time of year, we would normally be able to see cherry blossoms in full bloom, but due to unfavorable weather conditions, only half of the cherry blossoms were in bloom.The cherry blossoms in full bloom and the autumn leaves will be truly beautiful.If you are thinking of sightseeing in Yasugi, such as Kiyomizu Temple, Adachi Museum of Art, and Gassan Tomida Castle, this inn is recommended as it has good cost performance.Especially during the cherry blossom season and autumn leaves season.By the way, when I told him that I was heading to Gassan Tomita Castle in Hirose that day, he was kind enough to give me a ride there.Thank you for your generous hospitality until the end.
