It's a quiet place with clean air! It was the perfect place to relax and forget about the busyness of everyday life. The student's daughter also seemed to be relaxing. The owner's personality was gentle and we had a lot of chats with him. After all, it's good to spend your vacation in Satoyama.

It was a wonderful stay.We were able to match the owner's smart plans and our unreasonable demands in various ways.I stayed here for 3 nights on my bike in mid-August.The surroundings are very quiet and you can only hear the chirping of birds and insects. The water areas such as the bath and toilet are very clean.Amenities such as bath towels, face towels, and simple toothbrushes are also provided. The dinner and breakfast for the three nights were very delicious, with a different combination of Japanese and Western food each time. The sauna is also nice and has glass windows so you can soak in the sauna while enjoying the view outside.Ogizawa Station, Togakushi, Hakuba, etc. are all within an hour. From here, you can visit sightseeing spots, visit the plateau, and go mountain climbing.Join other guests for a bonfire, or watch the night sky fill with breathtaking stars.I was lucky enough to see shooting stars three times. The mascot character, Tama-chan (cat), is well-disciplined, so you can enjoy your meal with peace of mind. There was a karaoke box that could sing 3,900 songs, and the equipment gave a sense of the times. If the weather is clear in the morning, you can see the sea of clouds and the Japanese Alps.At bedtime, we received mosquito coils. It might be a good idea to have bug spray. There is an observatory nearby, and if you look at the night sky, you'll understand why.I will definitely come again.

It was great to sit in the sauna while looking at the mountains as the sun went down.It was great that I was able to eat a variety of meals, including seasonal foods.(And they're all delicious!)I was able to take a break from everyday life and have a relaxing time, looking at the distant scenery and talking around the hearth.

I stayed for one night with my two dogs (Shiba Inu and Labrador).I was excited to visit because I had seen it featured on TV just before, but I was very satisfied with the service and response.Since this is our first time bringing a dog with us, we will need to prepare a crate and other items, but if the number of such customers increases in the future, we may be able to improve the facilities! ?

It was a place that reminded me of my grandmother's.It's great to relax at a desk by the window while the sun is out.At night, you can relax and talk around the irori and watch the charcoal fire.Although it is not easy to access, it is recommended for people who want to escape from everyday life and relax in nature. The reception is not very good, so it might be a good idea to bring a book or board game.

At the end of March 2024, I will go to Ogawa Village to see the "bellybutton of Honshu" and the spectacular view of the Northern Alps. This inn is a renovated old folk house that we found along the way. I only had lunch there, but the owner is from my hometown, so we had a great time talking and had a great time. I would like to visit again when the wild cherry blossoms bloom (soon). The soba noodles and fukinoto tempura were delicious.

The tasteful old folk house had been renovated to be easy to use, and the plumbing was also very clean. As soon as we arrived, we were shown around the handmade sauna, which was set up with a spectacular view, and at night, the sky was full of stars. Enjoy your meal around the hearth, prepared by the host! It was very delicious and filling. You can also enjoy karaoke with a retro atmosphere. It's comfortable, has everything, and the price is unbeatable! I will use it again if I have a chance ✨ Thank you very much for this time 😊

This inn is a renovated old folk house that is over 100 years old. The innkeeper's personality is warm and warm, and you can't help but feel the Japanese hospitality in his attentiveness. Prepare yourself in a homemade sauna with a spectacular view, and enjoy delicious food and drinks as the night goes by in the blink of an eye.
