The worst accommodation in Japan, and the most expensive! We had booked two nights at the hostel, and they made us pay an onsen tax.In the hostel there was a toilet for women that did not work, and that was not fixed in the two nights that I stayed, there was a sign that sent you to the hotel. The washing machine was more expensive than in the hotel, and they didn't provide slippers or toiletries. The rooms were old, with dirty walls. The beds were horrible, uncomfortable and not particularly clean. Super poorly insulated, it was hot or cold. There are other hotels in the area that are sure to be better, so go if you have time.

Since the mountain pass has opened, I went to take a day bath for the first time in half a year.It was 1000 yen per adult.I love the baths here and used to go once a week, but it seems like I won't be able to go there anymore anymore.postscriptWhen I went back a month later, the price was 800 yen. Was there some kind of mistake?

The worst place I have stayed in all of Japan and the most expensive. It smells musty, old and dirty. Even the doors and cabinets have stains. Tourist trap 100%I would never return here.We also don't have a refrigerator and the shared bathroom is across the road.0/10

2024/9/11The dormitory annex and the main building are separate, but there's nothing about that on the reservation site, so I'll write about both. The dormitory reception and bath are located in the main building.Separate dormitories are a little different from regular guesthouses; there are no dishes, cooking utensils, or stoves, and there is no tea or coffee. There is a pot, water heater (if you have a pot, you don't really need it), and a microwave. So, if you buy frozen food, you won't have a plate to eat it with, so frozen fried rice is a problem.

I stayed in the new building for families. The room is spacious and the bedding is clean and fluffy. Since it's a youth hostel, we also have large rooms. A variety of people stay here, including young riders, foreigners, and families. There are multiple coin laundry machines, which is convenient. No matter what I say, the rice was delicious. It was quite a luxurious dinner, including sashimi and boiled red sea bream, grilled venison, and rice with salmon roe. Breakfast was also good.

There is a convenience store and a pub at the bottom of the hill, so I stayed there without meals.I stayed in the new building, and it wasn't particularly clean or dirty. The atmosphere was nice, like an inn surrounded by nature. There were a lot of people from other countries, so I thought it was popular overseas.I was impressed by the sulfur hot spring bath. Although I had done some simple cleaning, the edges were pitch black, so I'm glad I didn't have bad eyesight.Other information・The washroom, toilet, and bath are all shared, but they are spacious enough.・Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in the bath.-There is only one hair dryer in the women's bath, so it would be better to bring your own or use it at different times.- New towels were hung at the door every morning. (Just in case there was an opinion that there was no exchange in other reviews)・There is a server for water, ice, hot water, and hot tea. A microwave is also available in the common area.

It was a stay-only plan. I was guided to a separate room, and it felt like a small guest house. This is worth the price and can't be helped. The bathroom is in the main building, and there are about 6 to 8 hot/warm bathtubs and washing areas. The main building also seems to have plans that include meals and yukata. We stayed for two nights due to climbing, and had reserved dinner for the second night. However, when I checked on-site, I was told that it wasn't ready! Perhaps the person at the reception is from China, but the place is full and I can't do it. . . I finished my meal outside, but I wasn't satisfied with the situation, so when I went back to the reception to talk to the Chinese person, another person came out and listened.Afterwards, he came to my room to apologize and gave me a cashback. I felt it was a sign of the inn's sincerity, so I accepted it without hesitation. There were some incidents, but I think it's a good place to stay cheaply.
