Absolutely fantastic little hotel next to the lake. We were spoilt with lovely local food home cooked. The wildlife just walked right by the front door. Welcoming beyond belief. Thank you for looking after us.

This is a homely pension-style inn. Both the meal and the bath were wonderful. I also met a sika deer and a sika squirrel!

・I used it the night before my canoe experience down the headwaters of the Kushiro River.・When I first saw the damaged balcony when I was parking, I hesitated for a moment, but when I got to the front door, I realized that it wasn't that old, and when I went inside, I felt that it had a richer atmosphere.・The food was delicious, especially the dinner, and I was very impressed that I was able to enjoy breakfast while looking at the squirrels and nuthatches outside the window.・Although I didn't use the open-air bath this time, the atmosphere in the large public bath was not only artificial but also unique.

First trip to Hokkaido in 50 years. Although it rained on the first and second days, it was sunny when we arrived at Papirio-san. I am deeply grateful to the owner and his wife for the relaxing and happy moments I had just by walking along the lakeside or watching the squirrels and birds while having breakfast. I must have been in a hurry when checking out and left something behind at the entrance, but despite your busy schedule, you responded quickly and accurately, and safely mailed it to me.I am filled with gratitude.Both dinner and breakfast are heart-warming and the wife is a really good cook. Everything was delicious. It's hard to find a chance to visit because it's far away, but if I have a chance to go to Hokkaido again, I'll definitely come back. thank you very much.

This inn is run by an elderly couple in their 70s.With hot springs, you can really relax.It seems like the wife is in charge of the cooking, so I was very satisfied with both the taste and quantity❗️When I looked outside during breakfast, I saw a wild squirrel!When we leave, my wife takes a photo as a souvenir.

I visited on a cold day. The room was warm and the passageway was warm, but the bathroom was so cold that I had a hard time. There was also an open-air Goemon bath, but it was too cold to enter, but everything else was comfortable.It seemed like the husband and wife were doing the work, but the husband was doing most of the work.The breakfast was delicious and it was great to see so many wild animals being fed.

I visited in September.It's been a while since we met again (=^・^=)I'm glad that you remembered it properly.I stayed at this inn when I first visited Hokkaido and was impressed by the richness of nature.You can feel the love in the food that the owner makes.The volume was so huge that I couldn't finish it this time...Sorry <(_ _)>I don't go there often, but I will definitely stop by again when I go to eastern Hokkaido.The free-flowing hot spring water soaks into your tired body and energizes you.Once you visit this inn, you will definitely want to come again.
