A very nice place with rich nature. All the food is homemade, and even the morning bread is homemade. It was very delicious. It's a place I'd like to go to again. The owner's personality is great.

Enter Otaki from the national highway and follow the narrow road. When you see the building on your right, enter the narrow road with the P sign and park your car on the immediate left. Although it was Sunday, I called in advance to confirm that lunch would be available. If you contact us by 3 days prior to Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc., we can prepare it even on weekdays. Enjoy curry rice with chicken and seafood. I had a lively conversation with the owner, and after the meal, I ordered some homemade pumpkin cake and coffee. The cakes change daily and are very delicious. I think it would be a good idea to stop by for tea in the afternoon. The leaves are just starting to turn red, and it's fun to see the mountains.

About 3 kilometers from National Route 153 in Tatsuno-cho, along the mountain, passing through a small village, you will find the old folk house Otaki-san. A married couple operates a 140-year-old renovated private house for lodging and lunch. The couple seemed to have moved from Tokyo 6 years ago, and they were very friendly and kind. The omakase lunch and curry lunch were recommended. The natural flavor makes me want to come back again. The prices are reasonable, and even if you add coffee and homemade cakes, it's better than a family restaurant. If you come once, you will definitely be transported back in time 100 years! One group per day can eat homemade bread during the stay.

It's an old-fashioned space, and the entrance feels like you're going to your grandma's house. A kind couple welcomed us.There was a fireplace in the dining area and it was very warm. There was also a horigotatsu, but since I suffer from sensitivity to cold, I thought it would be a good idea to bring a blanket.Although there is a guide to the parking lot, there is no special request to park here, so I think it would be fine if you park within the range of common sense.I heard that the food was delicious and that they also sell handmade bread by reservation, so I thought I'd like to visit again 😊It's an old-fashioned space, and the entrance feels like you're at your grandma's house. A gentle couple welcomed me.There was a fireplace in the eating and drinking space and it was very warm. There was a digging kotatsu, but I thought it would be better to bring a blanket because I have poor circulation.Although there is guidance on the parking lot, it does not feel like you should park here, so I think you should park within the bounds of common sense. The food is delicious and handmade bread is also sold by appointment, so I would like to ask again :)

This is a wonderful guesthouse built by Mr. and Mrs. Otaki who moved from Tokyo and renovated an old private house for half a year. Cooking using a fireplace and pesticide-free vegetables. He is very friendly and tells fun stories. Lunch is available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and the guesthouse seems to be open every day.
