It was more than 20 years ago, but my father liked it and used it. I wonder if my son is taking over. Anyway, the food was delicious and I loved the warm guesthouse-like atmosphere. These are happy memories that will never disappear. I would like to visit there with my family at least once before I die.

We just had a week at Pearl Lodge, the most charming and warm family-run lodge super close to the Kanazawa ski lift. The food (breakfast is provided) is super yummy, plentiful and the menu changed each morning. Dumplings, pancakes, hash browns and fish cakes were some of the highlights. It was very cold when we were there with snow pelting down outside but we felt very warm and cosy in the tatami room. Another beautiful bonus was the proximity to a great local Onsen, a funky bar called Rotus Root, an excellent Okanamiyaki joint and the Akari Swiss Bakery. The family kept us well informed about things like changes to the Shinkansen schedule as well. Really worth it if you are planning a trip to Nozawa Onsen.

Best food I ever had in ski resort area.
The owners are kind and considerate. Would definitely visit again and if you are debating I would recommend staying here.

I stayed for 2 nights at the end of January.I used to stay at a guest house near Pearl Yoshikoshi every year, but it was empty so I used it for the first time this year.This is a very kind and welcoming inn.I received Oshiruko and souvenir service and was taken with me. I look forward to working with you again next year.
