**update - please read the website carefully, it shows that one room with two people is 12100/night. I think theres an issue with the translation. Its actually 12100 per person per night, we were shocked to find out it was actually 24200 for two people for one night. Due to this we changed our rating from 5 stars to 4. Although the service was wonderful, we do not feel that the condition of the facility is worth this amount of money**The hotel is a bit old, I believe the owner said it was built in 1979. It's dated but clean. They provided breakfast and dinner, huge portions and some of the best food we have had in japan. They were accommodating to my vegetarian diet. It's a family run business and they are very kind people. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a great sleep. It's right across the street from the lift.My fiance and I have tattoos, so they provided us with a private bath.If we ever come back to the area we will definitely stay here. Cannot recommend this place enough. The website is a little difficult to navigate but do not let this discourage you from staying here.Thank you so much for your hospitality

We stayed here on February 29, 2024 after skiing. This is a unique hotel with a ``sea otter thermometer'' floating in the bathtub. The dessert for dinner was delicious with raspberry gel and mousse. Also, I was able to eat curry and rice in the morning.

This is a stay in mid-February 2024. I was able to park my car right in front of the road, and was able to walk to the Diamond Ski Resort in about a minute.I think because it was a Sunday night stay, there were a lot of regulars from the senior ski club. The building is old but feels clean. There were two beds in the Japanese-style room, and it was like a twin. It's a foldable bed, but it reclines so it was easy to use. There are so many people in the public bath that there doesn't seem to be a long wait for washing. The water temperature was moderate and warmed my cold body.Dinner is a one-person hotpot plus buffet. Unfortunately there is no draft beer. The mushroom hotpot also drank up the soup. At the buffet, my favorites were tuna sashimi, croquettes, shredded yam, and chicken stew in tomatoes. The breakfast buffet includes delicious curry. I think it's available every morning because it's a specialty of our hotel. There were also other favorite items such as egg salad and apple pie. In particular, I ended up eating way too much of the small bowls of pickles because there were so many different types to go with rice. The ski locker was always stocked with dry towels and brushes, so I was able to dry myself off on the way home. There was a locker for valuables that you could use for free next to the elevator. Please note that a 70% cancellation fee will be charged from one week in advance. It was possible to change the date. The material of the toothbrush handle is bamboo, which is eco-friendly.There's an izakaya attached, and there's plenty of seating, so I thought I'd go there next time after dinner.

A typical ski inn. The room is a Japanese-style room with a bed for some reason. Although it is old overall, it is beautiful and clean and I am satisfied.Dinner was a semi-buffet, and although the number of items was small, it was satisfying enough.Breakfast was a buffet style, and for some reason, it was the usual kind of food, but it kept getting more and more delicious.Apple pie is recommended.I would like to say that the Wi-Fi is perfect, but the connection is not stable. If it's just a search, there's no problem! If the bath is a hot spring, there's nothing to complain about.

Belated review. Visited with young children pre covid for skiing and snow monkeys. The owner and his family were absolutely lovely. Large tatamj rooms, communal bathroom. Good location.
