My family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers loved our 5 night stay at Kaiya Nozawa in a family room. Lodge was very clean, hosts were very welcoming, friendly and informative and beds were comfy. The super cosy lounge with fire a great way to wind down at the end of the day and had we stayed longer would have made use of the kitchen to cook a dinner on the nights we were to tired to move!As 3 x 1st time skiers we pre booked a private ski lesson and had no issues renting our ski’s etc through Nozawa Holidays. The booking process was very efficient, professional and we all hope to make a return trip in 2025 to the amazing Nozawa Onsen.

Myself and two teenage daughters travelled to Nozawa Onsen and stayed at Villa Nozawa on April 17 of this year 2024. We had a blast. Obviously it helped that there was oodles of snow, including a dump of 70cm one night, crazy. And being late in the season there weren't many people around, so no waiting in lift queues, plenty of space on the runs, and no probs getting in to restaurants in the evening. The staff at Villa Nozawa were just great. Super helpful, friendly, and had plenty of time to share tips and advice. They made as feel really welcome. The accomodation was perfect too. Nice simple rooms were all we needed. Clean, neat, warm, furniture and fittings all in great nic. Included breakfasts were a bonus, as were the heated toilet seats. What a country! Villa is nicely situated, maybe a hundred meter walk to lifts, couple hundred meters to centre of village where all restaurants and bars are. And one of the free public onsen hot spring baths is just around the corner. Coming from Australia, one week here worked out about the same as a week at Buller price wise, even including the airfares. But with much longer runs and oodles more snow. We all had a ball. Highly recommend the resort, and highly recommend Villa Nozawa too.

This was our first time to Nozawa Onsen and dealing with Nozawa Holidays made it a hassle free experience. We stayed at Kaiya Lodge in the newly renovated downstairs apartment and it was fantastic. The lodge itself is in the perfect position between the mountain and village. Everything was only a short walk away, including a local public Onsen that was really nice to use.Kaiya Lodge is very clean and well run. The team working there were exceptional. No question or request was too difficult and the breakfast they provided each morning was fabulous. The village is quaint. It has a very traditional and cultural feel to it as you walk around but it also has numerous restaurants and bars to visit as well.We enjoyed everything about Nozawa Onsen. We will be back next year and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting.

We were a group of 4 couples staying at Taki-No-Yu lodge for a week skiing and would recommend the lodge. Great bedrooms all good sizes, fully equipped kitchen, we ate in most nights and comfortable lounge area. 2 toilets and 2 showers and an Onsen across from the house. Great location , short walk to Hikage Gondala , where we rented lockers for our skis and boots and easy walk into Main Street. Mark and all the staff were so helpful with transport, ski hire , lift tickets , restaurant ideas. Any issues they were more than happy to help. We will be back !

We had two families stay in Nozawa cottage and we both were very happy with our accomodation. Location was perfect.A highlight of our stay was the outstanding service we received from Nozawa Holidays staff. From dealing with Kerri via emails ( from 3 years prior as this trip was a pre Covid plan) to the friendly van driver and getting our rubbish promptly collected each morning. Ski hire being dropped off/ tickets for the fire festival delivered - every little bit the detail was considered and made our family holiday easy, memorable and magical.Even the snow conditions was perfect. Pretty sure Nozawa Holidays arranged that too.Thank you very much to all the staff at Nozawa holidays. You live in a very special place albeit tough at times with the coldconditions but thank you for sharing your love and enthusiasm for Nozawa with us.We will return one day.

super friendly staff. especially Mariko who is always happy to help. Not 4 stars for service because1. conflicting instructions to clear rubbish and having to chase up for information and the team to clear rubbish. Hygiene should be number 1 for staying guests, I would have thought2. Not only are our rubbish is overflowing without being cleared (despite asking) No bin liners are provided so we having to scrap around for bags to hold our rubbish3. Team claims to be able to book our dinners with restaurants but they can't keep up with the requests. Despite several chasings, we have to stand at the reception for the team to phone there and then4. After leaving service wasn't brilliant. I left quite an expensive belt in the room but almost non responsive from the team despite several chasings.

Our stay at Nozawa Holidays was brilliant. The staff at Lodge Nagano are legends, nothing was too much, they are friendly, super helpful and they were attentive to every detail. They were also happy to share their local knowledge with us about restaurants, onsens etc. They also cook a beautiful breakfast everyday. The lodge has a welcoming atmosphere and its location is awesome and close to ski rentals and ski lockers. The Nozawa Holidays team are awesome.

Nozawa Central is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are spacious and child friendly and conveniently close to the beautiful fields. The kids had a wonderful instructor named Chris. He was a fabulous teacher and was so lovely to the children. They are much more comfortable skiing because of Chris.
