This was my first time staying at Shiga Kogen outside of the ski season. To be honest, since the inn is located at a ski resort, I didn't have high expectations as per the reviews...However, the room was equipped with a hot spring bath and had plenty of amenities, free local beer and soft drinks were provided in the refrigerator, coffee and tea were ready to drink, hot and cold water was available, and the room was clean and very satisfying. did.As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast and evening meals were also very delicious. Above all, the gratin was shockingly delicious! It was so voluminous that I felt really sorry that I couldn't finish it all.I like alcohol, and the alcohol I order with meals is often a highball made to the fullest, rather than the small glass that is served at hotels and inns. I don't think there are many. Both the male and female staff were very attentive and attentive, and I was really happy to stay here. This is a highly recommended inn that left a lasting impression on me.On my way back, I was the only one working at the front desk, so I wrote this review to express my gratitude to all the staff.Thank you very much.

I stayed there the other day, but I had a problem. The attitude of the woman at the counter was the worst. The hot springs, food, and other people's service were very good, but the trip was ruined because of the one woman at the counter. During my two-night stay, several members of my family had to leave at short notice, so I only informed them that a few of them had left. I just contacted them and did not ask for a refund. Then, for some reason, the system charged me a higher rate than the normal rate. When I told the woman at the counter about this, she acted as if it was normal, and I was wondering what was wrong. I was told something like this. Furthermore, they asked me to explain the details. It was unusual to have the customer explain things, and the behavior and behavior of the interaction was off-putting in the first place. I couldn't get through to the woman, so I spoke with another staff member, and the problem was resolved. In the end, it turned out that the inn had been re-billed at a higher rate due to a lack of understanding of the system, and the staff in charge apologized. However, after that, I met the woman many times until I checked out, but she never apologized or even spoke to me. I felt sick. I hope this will help improve management.

I went there in the summer, and while the temperature in the city was over 30 degrees, the daytime temperature was around 20 degrees, which was perfect for a summer getaway. The hot springs were neither too lukewarm nor too hot, and you could lie down in the open-air bath in the large public bath, so you could take a long bath, and you could adjust the temperature of the hot spring in your room, so it was nice to be able to use it freely. The food was delicious and I was able to choose the main dish, so I was able to enjoy my stay without any inconvenience even if I stayed for several nights.I want to use it again.

Select a lodging to take a break from the summer heatAlthough it is not written on the HP, there is a service available.I think it depends on the plan room.All-you-can-eat ice cream is a mustAlso, the refrigerator in the room is free.(2 local beers and 2 soft drinks)There are two types of hot springs: simple springs and sulfur springs.Does that mean it's near Manza? The sulfur springs are quite pleasant. The food is a mix of Japanese and Western style and is of high rank. However, the grilled rockfish was disappointing. When I ate it from the head, the bones were not cooked and it was a very difficult time.Everything else was satisfactory, including breakfast.
