I would have given it 5 stars because the host was kind and worked hard to accommodate me, but I only gave it 3 stars because the dinner and breakfast, which are important at a hot spring inn, were generally cold. It was a day with a set time and few guests, but for some reason the grilled fish and soup were cold. It may be good for a cat's tongue, but it should be served at a slightly warmer temperature for ordinary people's home cooking. I wish they would have thought about the temperature since each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. The hot springs were super hot♨️ and the food was cold, so the gap was huge. I wanted the fried food to be crispy and crispy. I look forward to the future.

Fresh and clean roomHeartfelt hospitality from a kind hostDelicious and creative foodThe quality of the hot springs is also excellent (it was also good for children's atopic dermatitis)Two families with young children visited by car. There is an outdoor bath at Ashiro Onsen right nearby, and I was glad to be able to take three baths.I walked to see a metal fittings shop in Shibu Onsen. There is no convenience store. There was a sake brewery about a 10 minute walk away, so I bought some craft beer and drank it in my room.I definitely want to visit again.

I was able to stay comfortably.I think it all comes down to the husband's personality.I came expecting to be able to smoke in the guest room, but unfortunately I was forced to smoke at the entrance. When I woke up the next morning and went to the front door to smoke, the ashtray was clean, just like it had been prepared the day before. This may be the first time I've ever stayed at an inn where the ashtrays were clean in the morning. The food was delicious as everyone said in the reviews. It was an interesting dinner with soup and curry-flavored chawanmushi served for dinner.I ordered the most popular plan, but on this day they also served soba noodles.rest assured!Sashimi, grilled fish, tempura, and simmered dishes are also available. We felt that the amount of meat in the most popular plan was not enough, so next time we will try the plan that includes rockfish and diced steak.Wouldn't it be better if you could have fruit for breakfast?

Although it is a small inn with completely Japanese food and Japanese rooms, the owner, proprietress, and employees are extremely kind and make you feel at home.We also provide transportation to and from the station and a nearby monkey park.Recommended for those who want to experience a traditional Japanese inn.It is a kind and considerate inn with fresh flowers placed everywhere.

A hot spring inn located near Oyu of Ashiro Onsen. I used it for a day trip bath. 550 yen for 30 minutes in a private bath. The spacious private bath has a nice atmosphere. …

The kindness and hospitality of the host. Akira was super helpful and caring during my stay. He helped out in everything I need, even helped me to call to see if there's any instant film around. I ordered dinner which is not in my plan, food was well prepared and tasted fresh and yummy. The next day Akira drove me to the Monkey park, after that he went to pick fresh bamboo shoots from the mountain, which is the fresh food I ate the other night.Last but the most helpful mama, she so strong and kind, picked me up from the monkey park and helped caught the train back to town.Overall a perfect stay here and one of my best memories in this trip.
