The hot springs were not self-sourced.I expected hot water because it said it was a private hot spring on Jalan, but the hot water was distributed.

I've stayed at a lot of ski hotels, but like all of them, there's nothing special about them, or to put it another way, they're nothing special. The same goes for the rooms, the same for the facilities, the same for the food, and the same for the staff. The hot springs are probably the only selling point, but they are not available in the morning and are only open from 4pm to 11pm.I had never stayed at an inn with a large hot spring bath that was not available for use in the morning, so it was a valuable experience. However, there were probably many people who wondered why it was a hot spring, because the information posted in the room (see the attached image) states that the public bath and hot spring temperature are not maintained during after-hours operations. It is also carefully written. The point is, you can come in if you like, but it might be lukewarm and dirty, but I don't care, so please excuse me.I actually turned on the lights myself outside of business hours, and was able to soak in the water normally, although it was a little lukewarm. The source water flowing from the spout has a faint smell of hydrogen sulfide, and the fact that hot water is also gushing out makes it an unmistakable hot spring. However, perhaps some customers mistook the hot water for dirt and complained, so they made a receptacle in the spout with something like a net to put laundry in, to prevent hot water from pouring directly into the bathtub. Personally, I was disappointed. It seems that there are quite a few people who mistakenly think that Yunohana is dirty.Honestly, I feel like we're using the hot springs in a way that's a waste of time. It's not an inn for hot spring lovers at all, but it's better than not having one at all, and if you're not particular about hot springs, I don't think you'll have any problems. It's important to think that this is what it will be like, and don't have too high expectations, but it's safe.I would like to leave the convenience of skiing to others.

The rooms, food, baths, and service are at the same level as a training camp. I think it's worth the price. The refrigerator in the room was dirty and smelly. There was no ventilation fan in the toilet. The dining room was really cold. There was also a buffet of food, but there were very few items, and there were no drinks (water and tea. In the morning, we had coffee, milk, water, and tea). There was a vending machine, but it was almost sold out. There was a store. The hot spring was underground and dark. No efficacy was written. It said it took 0 minutes to get to the slopes, but in reality it was a 5 minute walk after leaving the hotel. On the way back, you have to walk for 20 to 30 minutes after getting off the gondola. That was extremely tiring. The rental wear probably wasn't waterproof enough, so it soaked through my clothes and got wet.

I stayed here on a bus tour to enjoy Shiga Kogen skiing.Since I wanted to ski for a long time on my 2-day vacation, I chose a 3-day, 1-night bus tour.I chose this hotel as the tour bus stop was right in front of the hotel. The hotel's location allows you to ski into the Giant Ski Resort (Higashidateyama), and on your way back you can exit from Hasuike Ski Resort or Giant Ski Resort to the road across from the hotel.Kumanoyu Ski Resort and Yokoteyama Ski Resort can be reached in less than 10 minutes with ski shoes from Yama-eki or Maruike bus stop. The food is a half-buffet, so I think even people who eat a lot will be satisfied. The quality of the hot spring water was good and I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath. There were also many washrooms. Some of the women who served us during meals were a little unfriendly, but all the staff were kind.Unfortunately, it was raining, but we were able to see a sea of clouds from each ski resort, making it a fun trip.

You can put on your skis in front of the hotel, and once you're done hitting the slopes, you can take them off in front of the hotel, so it's very convenient for a ski stay.

The location is close to the ski resort, making it easy to ski.For dinner, each meal will be a teppanyaki dish or a hot pot dish. There is Wi-Fi in the room, so the signal is good.Furthermore, there is a convenience store at the hotel, which is rare in Shiga Kogen. There are plenty of rental options available, so I think you won't regret visiting this hotel.
