The large public bath was on the 14th floor of the main building, and it was nice to be able to soak in the hot spring while looking out at Lake Suwa. The bad thing is that sometimes the annex is moved to the second floor.

I visited there twice several decades ago.Once I stayed for one night, and twice I stayed for 2 to 3 nights. The first time I stayed there, it was so luxurious! In particular, the view from the buffet is beautiful even in the morning or at night, even though it's on the second floor! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. In particular, when I saw the extra large marshmallow fondue at the time, I was like, "What is this?!" lolAt night, about 50 people gathered in a Japanese-style room and held events such as a bingo tournament!I think I got 2-3 prizes with my family at the time.I think there was a system where you could choose a prize, and the good prizes were numbered and you could get them if you guessed the number. There are also excursion boats nearby. It was fun to ride on large pleasure boats such as turtles and swans.By the way, I have never ridden a swan, but I have been on a tour boat with turtles and their children several times. However, it is sad that around 2020, due to the age of the ship, it was no longer possible to ride the turtle sightseeing boat. . .It's one of the hotels I'd like to stay at again, so I'd like to go there someday 👀

We stayed here during the fireworks festival in August. The building itself has a historical feel, but the rooms have been renovated and are very clean and barrier-free.All the staff behave well and are friendly and comfortable. If you stay in a room facing the lake, you can enjoy fireworks while relaxing in your room. The view in the morning is also nice. Breakfast is also very delicious. There was a tasting comparison of miso unique to each region. There is also a service that will make your omelet in front of your eyes, which I think children will enjoy.I think it's seasonal, but on my way to breakfast, I saw freshly harvested corn (pure white) for sale in the lobby, and ended up buying it. I think small events like this are part of the real pleasure of traveling.Regarding the bath, there was no bathtub in the room, only a shower (maybe it differs depending on the room?)You can use the rooftop large bath and the annex large bath. You can take a pleasant bath in the spacious bathhouse. There is also a convenience store within walking distance.I think it's good because tourist facilities are nearby. (There is also a large parking lot in the back)This is my first time using it.I felt very good and was able to get rid of the daily fatigue and feel refreshed. This is a hotel that makes me want to visit Lake Suwa again.

There was apparently a fireworks festival on August 15th, but I stayed there a few days before.I was able to see the fireworks from the bath, and the room I stayed in was facing the lake, so I was captivated by the beautiful sunset. My family took care of me, and my wife was also very satisfied and in a good mood.
