This campsite is 3 steps away from an unexplored area deep in the mountains. It's cool even in the intense heat of Gifu.Despite the location, flush toilets and washing areas can be used normally. Also, the manager is very polite. However, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the nearest supermarket or home center, so please be careful if you forget to buy something or don't carry a bike with a small load. Also, there are a lot of insects in midsummer. At night, there is no light and wild animals may appear nearby, so you need to be careful. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the nearby hot springs.I was on two wheels this time, so I had the above difficulties. However, I would like to go there again, including the stream and nature that flow beside it.

As of September 2, 2023, the shower is broken and cannot be used. Due to the typhoon, the nearest hot spring is closed, so you can't go to Kuse Onsen Hakuryu no Yu either. Old type where you can't park your car next to the tent site. It's a shame because the atmosphere is nice with the sound of a river deep in the mountains. The toilets and facilities were clean. It seems like it's managed by old men and only takes reservations by phone. It's a narrow road coming up from Sekigahara, so it might be tiring if you're not confident in driving.

A campsite in the mountains with a great atmosphereYou can relax while listening to the babbling of the brook. The exhibits in the attached museum, although small, were also interesting. There is Kuse Onsen Hakuryu no Yu ♨️ about 15 minutes by car.

Good point: About 15 sites in total. The scenery is nice. Facilities are minimal, with only a washing area and toilet. There are no merchandise stores, not even vending machines. Take all trash home. Since there are few sites and the area is small, it is not possible to set up a family tent. Gnats, snakes, and bees are common, and deer occasionally visit. Apparently there have been bear sightings before. The brook is beautiful. Cheap price. Quiet (weekdays)Therefore, it is rich in nature and perfect for solo or duo camping.Bad point: A crumbling building is left unattended. Almost half of the sites do not allow luggage to be transported using trolleys. On weekends, all the sites seem to be full, but on weekdays, I've only encountered about 5 sites at most. Almost solo only.Along the way, the road is very narrow, and there are some places where the road has collapsed due to heavy rain the other day. The road north of the campground was closed to traffic. The elderly staff members are very kind (2-3 people)A very nice campsite that I am always grateful for.

The site is in a forest on the banks of a stream and has a great location. But it's small. A 2-person tent, a small tarp, and just enough space. It can fit by stretching it diagonally, but it won't fit unless you make some adjustments to the rope and peg down. The toilet is a little far away, but it is clean. There are many insects, so please take proper insect repellent measures such as mosquito coils and insect repellent.By the way, my smartphone can only be connected to Docomo, so I can't use au or Softbank at all. I gave up my smartphone for the first time in a while lol

Strongest cost performancerich natureFull of BBQ equipmentThere is also an art museum, etc., which is well managed and well-equipped.Although the transportation is not convenient and it takes 25 minutes to reach the nearby convenience store, it was a good place to enjoy camping deep in the mountains at a good value. On the way, I encountered a deer.I think it's probably run using tax money. It was a great campsite.
