It was 10,600 yen per night, 22,600 yen with a 2-day lift ticket. One parking lot is used by several nearby hotels. It's about 200 meters uphill from the parking lot to the hotel. You can rent a sleigh for transportation at the hotel.The room I was using was vacant the day before, so I was able to use it right away without any extra charge. The open-air bath is very hot and makes me feel tingly. You can use it until 17:00 even after check-out. There are no washlets in the shared restrooms.Hotels in the Shiga area are all expensive, but Itakura is quite reasonably priced. However, for 10,000 yen per night, I wish they would put a little more effort into the cooking. Breakfast coffee costs 250 yen...Please be careful not to lock the windows at night when you are not home, as monkeys may sneak in.

Is it natural? I like hot springs. I was surprised that coffee at breakfast was charged separately. There was information about coffee tickets at the front desk, but I thought they were for customers coming for lunch...I wish guests would have been offered coffee. Since there are some foreigners, we also offer coffee in addition to tea.

The main attraction is the hot springs. The open-air bath, where you can smell the scent of hot springs even on the slopes, is especially wonderful. The indoor bath had also been renovated and was beautiful.Although the room had no toilet and only a sink, it was spacious and comfortable.The only thing that bothers me is that the shared restroom is small (the washlet in the men's restroom on the second floor was out of order).Even after staying one night and checking out, I was allowed to enter the hot springs until 5pm.

Located inside the Shiga Kogen Giant ski slope. You can take a day trip to the hot springs from 11:30 to 17:00 for 700 yen. For this price, you get a face towel and a toothbrush, and even a bath towel rental is included. The bathroom has been renovated and is beautiful. The open-air bath is a cloudy sulfur spring with a view of the Bunadaira gondola, which is perfect for skiers!

A very good choice to stay here if you are skiing around there. Very nice onsen and restaurant. It’s good value for money place. Even you have already check out also can use the onsen after the skiing. It’s excellent service, Highly recommend!!

A hotel and restaurant located at the foot of the Giant Ski Resort in the central Shiga Kogen area.At noon, the restaurant serves lunch.There is a food ticket vending machine that will automatically place your order once you purchase it, so all you have to do is wait at your seat until you are called.The inside of the store is like a large retro cafeteria, and there are vending machines selling juices, alcoholic drinks, and non-alcoholic drinks.This restaurant specializes in ramen.The last order was not clear, but it seemed to be around 1:30pm to 2:00pm.

The food is delicious, the open-air hot springs are great, and the flexibility of time is amazing. I think the deliciousness of the food is in the top 10 in Shiga Kogen. I think the quality of the food in Shiga Kogen has improved overall compared to a while ago, probably because they've put a lot of effort into it recently. I used to give up on mountain meals, but these days I can enjoy them.

The dried sardine ramen available only on Saturdays and Sundays is super delicious! It is a dish that is irresistible for lovers of dried sardines, with a taste of carefully prepared chicken stock. The price is quite reasonable at 900 yen with extra meat.
