Sensō Yutagawa

Our family enjoyed our stay at Senso Yutagawa very much.The landlady was super friendly and generous.The room was very spacious and clean.We loved the hot spring.The food was very delicious and big portion. We were very satisfied and we will return again soon. Thank you☺️❤️

From Yamagata Station to Yutagawa Onsen (2023/10/24)There are two options to get to Tsuruoka Station: JR transfer or express bus.This time I chose the express bus.On the way, 4 days earlier, Mt. Gassan was covered with snow and the leaves were beautiful (yellow).This route was correct.Arrive at Tsuruoka Station about 10 minutes late.At the departure time of the bus bound for Yutagawa Onsen, I was worried.I arrived in plenty of timeYutagawa Onsen bus stop is right in front of you.Welcoming the rumored “Neko Wakadanna Navi”Standard meals, reasonable plan without toilets9 tatami mats, floor space, 2 door refrigerator, water server (this was convenient)There is a window, but there is no envy due to the neighbor's wall.I think it's well cleaned too.Toothbrush must be purchased separately for ¥100There were reviews that the towels and yukatas were not changed during consecutive nights.When I checked, it said it would be replaced.It's on the 3rd floor, near the toilet and smoking room, and the bathroom is right downstairs, so there's no inconvenience.Or rather, it's convenient for meWi-Fi passes are available in the hallway and lobbyInstant coffee and microwave available in the lobby.The hot springs are tasteless, odorless, and transparent (heated depending on the season)Although the bathtub is small, etc.If the source water is around 40 degrees Celsius, it would be rather spacious.(The replacement of hot springs will be delayed and the temperature will drop)Since I was staying on a weekday, I was able to take a long hot spring bath and it was comfortable.If you go in for 20 minutes, it will be hot after you come out.As expected of a hot spring! Clean room, good location in the middle of town, a nice (but small) onsen but the cherry on top was the delightful lady at the front desk who was lovely to talk to and also helped me tie up yukata (something I'm terrible at). It was great to meet someone as friendly as that after weeks on the road.

The bath was very pleasant 💮 The landlady's nice touch was also nice. I would like to stay again.

I stayed with my dog, mother, and daughter. The landlady was very friendly and nice. The signboard cat, Navi-chan, was also very cute and came to greet us and see us off. Since he is a large dog, it is difficult to hold him, so I was grateful that he told me that if no one was around, I could just take a quick walk to my room. Even though we had a small meal plan, the food was delicious and was enough to fill us up, and the hot springs were warm, but just right! I rarely stay in the same room as a dog, so I was very satisfied with how kind they were! I would like to repeat it again!
