Used by 3 generationsThis is my second stay. The first time, I stayed in a bungalow. This time I stayed in the accommodation building!Last time I went, I really enjoyed playing in the river and night watching, so that's what I wanted to do this time as well.I was worried about the weather, but I was able to do all the activities! Playing in the river, floating around, looking for rare stones in the river, and walking through the pitch-black forest at night.Observe insects and flowers. I was surprised when I heard a deer nearby. The accommodation staff was in charge of the activities, so when the staff brought the food, they called out our names and looked happy! !The school building has been renovated so that you can stay overnight, and I could feel the traces of the school in some places. The room was well cleaned and there was no toilet or sink in the room, but since my child was over 1st grade, I didn't feel any inconvenience. It was fun to be able to play table tennis and play in the gym.(Although it was hot...)The quality of the hot springs was good! There are only 6 spots, so sometimes you have to wait. The food seemed to change daily and the quantity was just right and it was delicious.Best of all, the water was cold and felt great. There is no convenience store or supermarket nearby, but I was able to get ice (for a fee).Alcohol was also sold.

Old school facilitiesDay trip hot springs are also possible (same location as Hikarugen no Sato Onsen)There are two bathtubsThe temperature on the source side is 19.8 degrees. It may be colder than tap water.Unfortunately, there was no open-air bath.Right outside when you open the windowA pleasant breeze blows throughBut if you open it, close it.For a hot spring in Yamanashi, the smell of sulfur is strong. The old school feeling is nostalgic and very nice.

It was like being transported back in time to a world where three generations enjoyed a satisfying dinner and hot spring! I want to go again. My 3-year-old son eats Manzoku for dinner! It was funny to talk to you lol

Don't expect anything like a hotel in the room. The charm of this place is that there are professionals in hot springs and nature observation. The service is also about 3 points in the hotel sense, but it is 4 points in the nature guide element.I gave the location a 4 not because of convenience, but because it's a nice place surrounded by nature.
