I remembered that a pamphlet had been sent to me and decided to take a one-night private trip after business, so I chose this option.I remembered that I had been to a different place before and had quite a good time.I took a short walk around the town from the station and walked to the hotel. I thought it was Awara Onsen, a hot spring area that was raised above the city, but it turned out to be only partially. Now, this is a hotel, although it feels old, the lobby and facilities are clean and have the ability for families and are fun.The room has a unique musty smell, perhaps because it is old, and there was an air purifier, but even if you turned it on, Why doesn't the smell change and the common areas don't smell? I thought. To be honest, the reality is that I couldn't sleep and ended up wearing a scented mask. Unfortunately, the bath inside the bath was being renovated and one part of the bath could not be used, so I went in for a while, but I was disappointed. The outdoor space was OK, but the aisles and washrooms were in such bad condition that I was brought back to reality as I wanted to enjoy some privacy.I regained my composure and headed out to eat, but...there were some local items, but the taste was just as good...other than that, it was no different from a normal hotel buffet.I'm sorry to say that crab, but it's water crab. You can eat all you want, but the legs are so thin and annoying that I just wish I could have just one delicious, thick crab leg.I had it in the morning and evening, but it was still the same.I've written only bad things, but the inside of the facility and the courtyard were clean, and the lobby staff seemed attentive, so I'm glad.I hope things will improve with the merger with Yukai Resort.

Oedo Onsen Monogatari here is recommended because the rice, including seafood, is delicious.I thought it would be nice if the souvenir corner was a little bigger and sold alcohol.

I used it at an inn on a trip to Fukui with 6 friends from work.Personally, this is my third time staying here. It's been a while since I last came before the coronavirus pandemic.I think it's the perfect location and price to use as a base for your Fukui trip.Dinner was also very satisfying. There was a large parking lot and there was a convenience store nearby, so I didn't feel any inconvenience.

Not English Friendly... A true Japan experience from the early 80's. Old & dusty but clean. Tbh I wouldn't bother - skip it and find a better place to stay. Wifi in lobby only, no mobile reception in rooms.

[Accommodation date] August 2024 (Saturday)[Parking] Available[Room] Western-style room (no view)[Cooking] Breakfast buffet plan[Bath] Large bath, open-air bath,I stayed at Oedo Onsen Monogatari Awara for one night with breakfast included. The hot springs are very good.■RoomThe Western-style room had 3 beds and was very small. It was also inconvenient to store luggage. The tables etc. look old. There was no view, so the whole room felt dark.■BreakfastThe breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, and we enjoyed both Japanese and Western dishes. The food was especially delicious, made with fresh local ingredients. The rest is normal...■Hot springThe hot spring was spacious and relaxing. There was also an open-air bath, so we had a relaxing time.■OverviewThis time, I used it for the lantern floating at Eiheiji Temple. I guess it's enough just to sleep. .
