An old ryokan but pretty well managed and the service is quite special. Dinner and breakfast time are adjusted according customer plan. Got small onsen feels like private as not many customers.

Hot spring inn in Oze Tokura 2023.7.16I stayed here for one night before entering Oze.After taking a bath in this hot spring, I realized once again how good the hot springs in Oze Tokura are. It's gentle and makes your skin smooth. The hot water was good.It's a family-run business, and the proprietress takes great care in preparing the dishes. The river fish and pepper flavor are very delicious, and even if you eat a full meal, it's a gentle dish that will rejuvenate your body. There is no doubt that this place serves such food.Thank you for making me feel so relaxed. This is also an inn I would like to stay at.

I was able to stay cheaply with breakfast and dinner included. After walking around Oze, I was able to relax in a hot spring similar to an eel bath. The meals were delicious, with grilled fish such as char and rainbow trout. The view from the dining room was also spectacular. 🍀

It was a pension run by a family.The photo is of dinner. The proprietress is very particular about her cooking and it's delicious. There are many items.Personally, I liked the perilla leaves better than the Akebi skin tempura. I also didn't like the apple tempura. The rice is quite solid.But after two nights, they changed the menu., overall delicious. Afterwards, the hostess will visit each table.The bath is slippery and feels great.The location was great and it was easy to go to Hatomachi Pass and Oshimizu.

An inn along the national highway, about 15 minutes by car from Oze Iwakura. There are no gas stations or convenience stores nearby. Good cost performance. However, I can hear my neighbor's breathing, and I'm worried about sharing the refrigerator, so that's a minus. The quality of the spring water is good and the water is thick, but be careful not to fall. Card payment is not possible.

Thank you for your help as I decided to go to Oze. I had high expectations for this product as it received high reviews online. Indeed, the hot spring was slippery (because the little kids didn't like it when I said it was slippery) and felt so good that I took a bath four times! The food is carefully prepared, the facilities and rooms are clean, and the cost performance is excellent. However, something seems to be missing...The reason is that I was not able to meet the landlady that other people wrote about. The old man and the young man took care of me, but they were quiet, probably because they were mountain men. Unfortunately, we had to give up on the important Oze trip due to rain, so we decided to go around the nearby area instead. I'll check the weather and come back again.

This is one of the best hotels for visiting the national park Oze.First of all, the location is good. It is a 5-minute walk from the shared bus/taxi stand for Hatomachi Pass. The fee is 1000 yen.Next, the usage fee is reasonable and budget resonable. And for the price, the rooms, food, and baths are good. See the photos: rooms, meals, hot spaAs for the meal, you can see it in the photo.First, the dish in this photo is served, and there are many more to come. You'll be full. It tastes great and is great.The hot springs are not large, but you can fully enjoy them.Lastly, the water is delicious and has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 waters. When you turn on the tap, the famous water comes out.

This is the third timeI left my car in the parking lot and stayed overnight after walking around Oze.The hot springs are smooth and the hot springs are dancing.Both dinner and breakfast were plentiful and tasted great.Orange juice, milk, and coffee are self-service at breakfast.Overall cost performance is ◎

During the first three-day weekend in November, I used it for day trips to Mt. Shibutsu and Mt. Nikko Shirane. It's easy to get to, less than 30 minutes by car to Hatomachi Pass, which is the starting point for Mt. Shibutsu and Ozegahara, and about 40 minutes to Maruyama Plateau, and the reviews on the booking site were very good, so I decided to stay here. There is an adjustable breakfast time and a boxed lunch service (for a fee), but although I didn't use the boxed lunch service, I thought it was a friendly accommodation for mountain climbing enthusiasts. The meals, made with plenty of local wild plants, vegetables, and river fish, were so delicious that I ended up eating way too much in the morning and evening until I was full. The water in the hot springs is hot, but in November, when it starts to get cold, I think it's just the right amount of warmth to warm up your body after getting cold in the mountains. The area also has many ski resorts, so I would like to try it out for winter sports next time.
