I used it for lunch at work. There aren't many places to eat around here so I was worried about this restaurant. But I didn't have to worry about that and had a delicious lunch.

Important note if you're looking for a hotel: If Google is telling you this is a hotel, it is wrong. When I asked the owner he said "むかしのこと" - it was a while back. It is only a restaurant now.Though I was looking for a hotel I was also hungry, so I decided to get some food. The store owner kindly accommodated my vegetarian request and make me an order of various vegetable tempura, which he served as a set with a small side salad and rice. I also ordered kappa maki (a cucumber roll).I was also offered miso soup but declined as it is not a vegetarian dish and I didn't want to waste food. They may also give you tempura sauce (not vegetarian) but you can ask for soy sauce instead. (They also offered me some salt which I used as well). If you're really strict it's possible that the salad dressing isn't vegetarian as well, I didn't worry about it this time though. For the whole tempura set it was only 980 yen and then 400 for the kappa maki, so the process were quite reasonable. The food was good and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere though it is pretty small with only a few thanks l tables. The service was also good and I'm especially happy that the chef was willing to make accommodations. If you eat meat and fish there are many other options but I cannot comment on those.
