The room is spacious and clean and has plenty of amenities. The indoor bath also had good hot water. The dinner and breakfast were also delicious. The open-air bath on the 6th floor of Soukan is also very pleasant, but it feels far away from the main building. The view from the room was very disappointing. Choose a room with a good view!

Service soso as they cannot communicate much in English! The teppenyaki was like fast food as they seemed wanted to retire early! Not recommended

If you are hesitating to make a reservation, don't worry. It is the best choice. This is a ryokan where everything is perfect, from facilities, to rooms, to food, to kindness. You really don't need to go anywhere, you can just stay in Kannawa and be happy,,,❤️ Of course, there are tourist attractions nearby to see here and there, and above all, it's right in the middle of the Hell Pilgrimage. It's nice to look around, so I went to African Safari, Golf, Hell Pilgrimage, Yufuin, Oita Station, etc.The room is very clean and there is a hot spring in the room, so there is no need to go to the large public bath, so you can enjoy it in the quiet and leisurely space. The capsule coffee and tea in the room were delicious, and actually better than the coffee they sold! Amenities are provided separately for men and women, and there is even shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, so you can come bare-chested. It also smells good.Breakfast and dinner are both very delicious. I've tried both kaiseki and teppanyaki, but I think Koreans will like teppanyaki more haha. If you want to try steamed Japanese home-cooked meals, I recommend kaiseki. Even when you eat breakfast or dinner, the staff always takes care of you and makes you taste good while eating. Things like pudding, chiffon cake, and yuzawa sabi(?) can be purchased at the souvenir shop on the first floor of the hotel! The chiffon cake is really delicious. It's the most delicious bread I've ever eaten. I bought it the day I returned home and am eating it at home. I really regret buying more. I'm saving up to eat it.It's also great to bring your parents. In fact, most of the families and couples came with their parents.I really recommend Kannawae, where everything is satisfactory.

The view from the public bath was very nice. I wouldn't have put it in if the typhoon hadn't come, so maybe I'm grateful for the typhoon.
