All of the staff were extremely kind and welcoming especially with our young children. The food was absolutely delicious (and a lot!), served in our room. They had no problem catering for one vegetarian, and one who eats fish but not meat. The black rice was very tasty. The private bath outside under the tree was very beautiful and relaxing. We definitely want to go again! Highly recommended!

This was our first visit to Suzaku Ryokan. The hospitality was impeccable, and while a bit cozier than other ryokans in the area, we had an amazing rest and bath. The food was delightful and reflected the local variety of mountain herbs and vegetables. There is a bus from Chichibu Seibu station that takes about 45 minutes and stops almost directly in front of the Ryokan. We will definitely visit again when we come back to Chichibu.

Simple, standard ryokan in the middle of Chichibu village, very good value. Rooms typical Japanese style, quite nice, view onto a little garden. Very powerful aircon, and good sound isolation. Totally silent, slept like a baby. …

I was very grateful that you greeted me at check-in time and directed me to the parking lot.Since I was alone, the room was only 6 tatami mats in size, but it was equipped with a refrigerator, TV, air conditioner, and Wi-Fi, so I was able to spend a comfortable time without stress. The bath was a large public bath with a feeling of openness and was very relaxing. We stayed without meals (dinner), and the landlady gave us a walking map and showed us various places to eat. She was very kind and nice.I'm glad that I was able to see you off until the end, and that I was able to go home feeling very comfortable.I would like to thank the proprietress and all the employees for their hospitality.I would like to work with you again if I have a chance.Thank you very much.

Used for solo travel plans. When I arrived, I was surprised to see a male staff member waiting in front of the inn without an umbrella in the light rain. thank you!The room was small and had a Showa-era feel, but it was clean and well-maintained.The futon was already laid out, so I guess it makes sense.I was very happy to receive matcha tea and sweets upon arrival. You can use the private open-air bath for 50 minutes by yourself. But it wasn't a constant flow. The quality of the spring water doesn't seem to have any particular characteristics. As for the food, there was a good balance of meat, fish, and local produce. This was so delicious! ! Unfortunately, that was not the case.To be honest, I think the ingredients in the chawanmushi were a little disappointing (sorry). However, the waiter who served us was a very nice person. He may be a veteran, but he wasn't arrogant and was very polite and made me feel very comfortable.I couldn't help but ask him about his private life. The young staff member who served us breakfast was probably a new part-time worker, and I could tell that he was very nervous. However, they did their best to serve me, and I was impressed.I could hear the support from the veteran staff behind me, and that added to the flavor. (lol)As a side note, a long time ago, I myself had a part-time job at an inn in Hakone, and had the experience of serving meals in the room, so I could completely understand the nervousness of newcomers.Unfortunately, I wasn't able to talk much with the landlady due to the timing not being right, but when I checked out, I was told that she had a wonderful smile and a nice smile. It is not a high-class inn where you can enjoy luxury, but it is a small and relaxing place. The inn had a somewhat nostalgic feel to it.Traveling alone, I was able to take it easy.Thank you very much to all the staff.

I couldn't tell it was an inn at first glance.I passed by once and checked again on the navigation system.I knew it was here. There is a parking lot right next to it.The employees kindly guided me.He even checked the rear. When you enter the inn and are shown to your room,We were welcomed with matcha and Japanese sweets. This matcha and Japanese sweets are delicious. After that, I took a bath. The water pressure in the shower was good too.I was able to wash my body comfortably. As a side note, there are inns that don't have good showers. There are surprisingly many...The most important part is the bath, but with a good amount of hot water.I was completely satisfied.Afterwards, the front area was used to cool down the water.Wander around and take a look around.Soothed by beautiful flower arrangements and in an old safeI'm curious, is that your husband? He explained about the old safe.it was fun.It was dinner, but it was served in the room.I'm doing my best even though it takes a lot of time...I was impressed.I thought all the dishes were delicious,What was surprising was the homemade konnyaku sashimi. This is delicious! It melts in the mouth. It was my first time to eat konjac like this in my life. This sashimi konjac is not only made with vinegar miso.I also wanted to try it with ginger soy sauce. Also, shabu-shabu doesn't like fat.I ordered lean meat,It's probably good meat, even if it's boiled. It didn't get that hard.It was very delicious. The tempura was also crispy and delicious.I don't like salt-grilled sweetfish, butIt was delicious because it was well-cooked.I was able to eat it.Sasa udon was also delicious,Unfortunately it wasn't piping hot. After dinner, I took a private bath. There's an indescribable atmosphereIt was good. When sleeping at night, the room has adequate sound insulation,No sounds from surrounding rooms come in.The futon was nice so I felt comfortable.I was able to sleep.I was hungry for breakfast, soCould you please come earlier than the scheduled time? When I asked for it, it felt good. They responded and I was able to get it 45 minutes early.Breakfast was also served in the room. Are you trying too hard? SweatEven so,I'm sorry for being selfish. My impression of breakfast is that there are various small side dishes. There, the meal goes on! move on! (lol)It looks like they put a lot of effort into the food as well. This rice has a good texture, sweetness, and aroma. It's great because it's cooked well.Eating too much and not being hungryI moved my lunch to around 2 o'clock.Landlady, husband, employeesEveryone is courteous and provides excellent customer service.I thought it was a wonderful accommodation. Now if the bath is a hot spring flowing directly from the source.Five stars.Saturday, July 13, 2024 RevisitI liked the food, the customer service, and the atmosphere, so I came back. This time I chose a slightly more luxurious room. The room is spacious, with a living room, bedroom,Not only is it separate from the dining room,The baths are both regular baths and hot springs.I was impressed that there were two bathtubs. The food is consistently delicious.I was satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. There is no dial that I missed last time.I thought the telephone was interesting.
