Visited after visiting the inns of the Secret Hot Springs Protection Association. Unfortunately, this inn is circular. It seems that the staff here also take the same bath. The food is a good impression, focusing on rockfish and soba noodles. The owners, who are in their 40s to 50s, seem to be knowledgeable and have a love for their hometown, but they give the impression that they are indifferent. The hospitality was lower than I expected, as if I was tired of seeing guests from the big city, Tohoku, which is the closest region to Kanto. When I entered the room after being guided to the room, the futon was already laid out. When I returned to my room after dinner, there were signs that the hotel staff had entered the room, but I wonder if the futons had been spread out as a consideration for tired climbers. There was also an older man on staff, who I think was probably my predecessor, but he had a good sense of distance and personality. Times change.By the way, the guest rooms are on the second floor, the dining room is on the first floor, and the bathroom is on the basement. No elevator.

The building is made of old wood, and every time I walk down the hallway I hear a creaking noise, but that's all part of the charm. The room isn't bad either. The meals are healthy and in moderation, using local ingredients. It would be great if the hot springs were free-flowing.

After visiting the Komadome wetland in Minamiaizu and the Magariya village, we stayed at a ryokan inn, a secret hot spring in Hinoemada.Savor delicious mountain cuisine. The spring quality is a colorless and transparent alkaline simple spring. Thank you for allowing us to have breakfast 30 minutes earlier than 7am.

Even though I had made a reservation the night before, they kindly accommodated me and helped me out.Although it was an old inn, it was well maintained and I was able to stay comfortably😋.The hot springs were nice to be able to use all night, and dinner was also available in the mountains. It was very good for us because it mainly consisted of things 😀

Hinoemata was the only weekend inn/minshuku available, so I stayed there for one night. I have stayed at Hinoemata inn many times, but it feels more like a guest house than a ryokan. 14,000 yen seemed a little expensive. There were 3 groups staying on Saturday.

First visit in 2 years. It's a historic inn with a great atmosphere. The bathtub is filled with the scent of cypress and has melting hot water.I was able to relax in a comfortable room. The dishes used local ingredients and were all delicious. In particular, the rock fish sashimi and green onion toro are exquisite! ︎Next time, I'd like to visit during spring's wild vegetable season and autumn's mushroom season. This is an inn that you will want to protect forever.
