This is an accommodation facility that has been renovated and revived from a closed school. The morning and evening meals were prepared by local sisters and had a nostalgic taste, making use of local production for local consumption, and I was very satisfied with both the taste and the quantity! Also, I'm glad that alcoholic beverages are reasonably priced. It was a great place that I would like to go to again!

I live overseas and choose Shikoku as my travel destination when I return home temporarily.I stayed with my family for one night in the latter half of August. As I was checking the map along the way, a fellow resident of Tokonabe kindly approached me and led the way in his car.I was very happy with the warm reception from the director who showed me around the museum with a smile on his face from the moment I arrived, and the staff who prepared delicious food for me.The rooms, which are converted classrooms, are comfortable. The children became addicted to table tennis in the gymnasium and played it before and after meals until the next morning. It was a nostalgic feeling, as if I had traveled back in time to the Showa era.The great thing about this place is that you can have dinner at the izakaya on the premises while chatting with the locals.Although I had a lot of fun and ended up drinking too much, it was a fun time that felt like I was back in the countryside.A local person who came to the izakaya said, ``I want people who don't have their own ``country'' to experience the feeling of being at home.'' I was struck by the words.I would like to thank the local people for their efforts in supporting this facility for 20 years. The children said they would have liked to stay one more night if possible.thank you very much.

During our three-night, four-day trip to Kochi, we spent the last night at a hive in the forest. We had a great time while eating delicious food and listening to the nostalgic Tosa dialect of the Tokonabe people.I was also very impressed by Mr. Noboru, the representative, explaining the history of forest birdhouses and floor pots using PowerPoint.Of course, the environment is different between Tokonabe and our living area, but it was a good opportunity to become interested in the nature of community.Although it is a little far away, I would like to visit you again someday ☺PS: I was able to safely bring the freshly laid eggs back to Tokyo. It was delicious♪

I think it's great that you can have fun interacting with the locals at the izakaya on the first floor.

It's like going back to your grandparents' house in the countryside, where you don't have to worry about time and everything starts naturally once you're ready. Time passes slowly and leisurely. My husband and I were together, and we were able to interact with people from the village and the people who were staying there, and it was the first time in a while that all of our relatives were together at the main house in the countryside! It was such a fun dinner (it turned out to be a banquet (lol)).There's a chicken somewhere in the morning too ~ I wake up and get woken up by the morning broadcast of the disaster prevention radio (lol)This inn is recommended for people in the city who want to experience the countryside.[For reference]Mobile radio Docomo/AU can be connected. Softbank is tough. There is public Free Wifi (automatically disconnects after a few minutes, just need to reconnect). There are no nightwear, and only bath towels are placed in the bath.

I wonder if there is an inn deep in the mountains like this? It's in a place that makes me feel anxious. (I learned how much I appreciate navigation.)This accommodation is a renovated abandoned school, so you can feel the nostalgia of a wooden school building.I visited by motorbike and received a warm welcome from the local residents, enjoyed delicious food and fun stories, and was able to see that the school building was well-maintained and well taken care of. Everyone was so friendly and the time went by so quickly.

Anyway, the attitude of trying to entertain the guests is incredible. No wonder there are so many repeat customers. I had a really fun time and was able to interact with other guests I didn't know before. I definitely want to go again!

A "home-like" facility that is taken care of by villagers (mostly graduates of this old school building). It is a ``school that we want to protect and live'' where we can seriously think about aging and limitations.

The owner is a kind person, the landlady, and the manager. It was only one night, but I had a great time!
