When I visited in early October, it rained unfortunately so I had to stay in my car for one night.I was curious and believed the forecast, and on my second visit I was greeted with rain again, but I waited in the parking lot for it to stop and pitched my tent in the corner of the free site.It was very quiet for two days, with only two groups using it, but on Saturday, nearly 50 tents were set up in the blink of an eye due to the unusually high temperatures for this time of year. There was a lot of space in the back, but everyone had the same idea, and there was a battle for parking near the parking lot, which ended up being full of tonerers. The night I was worried about became surprisingly quiet once we crossed the International Date Line, but I was surprised by the people who were chopping wood from before 6am (it's a shame that no matter where you go, there are people who don't have common sense). The facilities in both the rabbit and the corner are wonderful. However, there are only restrooms at the auto site, and there were quite a lot of people at both the auto and free sites this time, so I had to wait for my turn, but I think it's unavoidable as it's temporary. There is a roadside station across the national highway, and it's a bit of a walk, but there is a recreation center (hot springs and sauna) next to the park.It may sound like an exaggeration, but I think it's a campsite that offers the ultimate experience. I did.It was warm this year, so it was a shame that it closed in early October.I hope to visit you again next year! (This time only on weekdays 𐤔)

The toilets are clean and have private rooms with heated toilet seats and hot water. The kitchen only uses water, but the water temperature wasn't that low, so it was comfortable to wash the dishes. There are also boats and tennis courts, so I think people of all ages can enjoy it.

[Lakeside Park Site]・1100~IN 1000~OUT- Easy to drive pegs on grass surfaces. No slope・Trash: Take everything home・Bonfire: You can use a bonfire stand.・Toilet: Fully flushable (some with washlets)・Part of the car site has power supply・Popular with families and campers with childrenThis popular site is conveniently located approximately 90 minutes from Sapporo and 60 minutes from Asahikawa. The sites facing the lakeside of Tsurunuma Park are divided into free sites, car sites (with and without power), and bungalow sites. Both require reservations in advance. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, so be sure to prepare well in advance. This time we used a car site without power. The plot is spacious and there is plenty of room for two rooms and a tarp. The lawn is completely manicured, so water drains well even when it rains.By the way, the sites with power are close to the water.Take all trash home. There are several collection points within the venue where you can dispose of the ashes from the bonfire. There was no damage to wild animals such as foxes, but crows were flying around, so be careful. It is essential to take measures to repel insects such as horseflies and bush mosquitoes. There is one toilet and kitchen (water supply) on the premises. It may be far away depending on the location. You can also ride on the popular swan boat.If anything, I get the impression that there are a lot of families with children. It's a little far from the national highway, so you don't have to worry about noise.5 minutes walk to Tsurunuma Onsen.Applications accepted until 8:30 p.m.

On a weekday during the Obon season, I used a free site by myself on my bike. It's a free site, so no reservations are required. It's cheap, and you can walk to the adjacent day-use hot springs and roadside station.Convenience stores such as Lawson and Seikoma are within 10 minutes by motorbike.Take home the trash.I was able to set up my bike from the sidewalk where cars cannot pass, and was given permission to park my bike on the sidewalk. Therefore, you can set up in the innermost area when viewed from the parking lot, so one person can set up in an empty space.I was grateful that I was able to set up far away from the busy family campers that were set up near the parking lot.I could hear the sound of trucks running at night and early in the morning, but it didn't bother me so much that I couldn't sleep. There is a park with playground equipment, so I would recommend it for families with children, but since it is a well-maintained campground and you can take a hot spring bath, I was able to take a good rest while touring Hokkaido.

I stayed at a free site. It was empty on weekdays, so I was able to pitch my tent as close to the car as a car site.In the summer, I could hear the cicadas during the day and the chorus of frogs at night. There are quite a few horseflies, so be careful!

Starting in 2024, online reservations will be possible. It's good because you can see how crowded it is.If there is no vacancy, you can put yourself on the waiting list and receive a notification via email. The restrooms at the campsite are clean, as per everyone's reviews, but I think it's far away in some places and the number of people it can accommodate is too small. There seem to be a relatively large number of families at the subdivision site, and I think most of them respect good manners.
