This is a fisherman's inn located at the entrance of Kamiminato near the World Heritage Site Munakata Taisha. I visited for a set lunch.The inn was recently renovated, and everything from the lobby to the guest toilets was very clean, and everything from the entrance to the guest seats was thoroughly cleaned. When I arrived 5 minutes before opening, the proprietress came out and showed me around. There is a counter with a view of the sea, 2 semi-private rooms (each seating 6 people), and 5 tables inside the room. There were low tables and children's chairs so that small children could come.I had a set meal of seafood bowl and fried horse mackerel. The fried horse mackerel is crispy, plump, and has an elegant sweetness. The sashimi is the best size of amberjack, sweet shrimp, octopus, salmon, and squid. Everything was fresh and plump. I received some homemade yuzu pepper. The scent was amazing.There is a horse riding club nearby and I could see them taking a walk from the window. Apparently he passes by sometimes. Even on weekdays, we were seeing customers one after another, so we recommend making a reservation. I will definitely repeat it.

I remember the seafood being fresh and the squid being delicious, so I visited for lunch on Sunday, my second time in a while. I was told over the phone that reservations were not possible on Sundays, so I visited Munakata Taisha Shrine early after it opened.Ordered sashimi, tempura, seafood bowl, and fried horse mackerel.I enjoyed the large fried horse mackerel and fresh sashimi this time as well.We enjoyed fresh fish while looking out at the port on a sunny day.A store with a fishing boat. The quality of life is guaranteed! Freshly caught live squid. It was sweet, smooth, chewy and delicious. The sashimi was delicious, and the tempura that followed was also exquisite.It has also become one of my favorite stores to visit.The parking lot 🅿️ is located next to the store for 3 cars.

I went to eat live squid, but unfortunately it was sold out. The seafood bowl is also delicious!24.7.7 Revisited Sashimi set meal was delicious ❗My wife had the fried horse mackerel set meal which also looked delicious. The horse mackerel is said to be thick and crispy.

I stopped by for lunch at the Tai Chazuke Fair. Both the sea bream chazuke and seafood bowl were delicious. There was also a lot of volume. The weather was nice and it was a pleasant drive from Fukuoka.

I visited while waiting for the ferry to Oshima.When I asked about the time the food would be served, I was asked, ``Are you using the Oshima ferry?'' ” he asked.He immediately replied that any dish would be ready in time for the next ferry.As expected, many people use it near the ferry terminal while waiting for the ferry. They kept track of the ferry times, and the customer service was wonderful, which left a very positive impression. Thank you to the lady who served us.For the most important dish, I chose the seafood fried horse mackerel bowl set meal (1700 yen), which is a rare seafood bowl with fried horse mackerel on top.The sashimi is delicious, and the fried horse mackerel is big and delicious.Comes with a small side dish, miso soup, pickles, and dessert. There was also a sauce for the seafood bowl.The customer service, food, and cleanliness are all great.I will visit again if I have a chance.

For use only in dining areas.I got in without waiting around 12:00 on Sunday.However, by the time I left, there were several groups of customers waiting at the entrance, so the timing seemed to be good.There were no seats with a view of the ocean, so I chose a tatami room. There are also children's chairs and cuppas, so I felt that this is a store that welcomes children.My 5-year-old doesn't eat raw fish, so when we go out to eat seafood bowls, it's hard to find something he can eat, but I'm glad they have curry for kids. I used to give up seafood bowls to share with my kids, but thanks to you, I was able to enjoy the seafood bowls on this day!Some people say that the amount of rice in the seafood bowl is small, but since I was planning on picking oranges after this, it was perfect. 2200 yen is expensive, but it's in this day and age and it was delicious so I'm satisfied.

I went there for lunch. We were shown to a private room and looked at the menu, but we both really wanted seafood bowls, so we both had seafood. All the seafood was fresh and very delicious. I felt like the rice was a little lacking. The price is (2200 yen).

I was wondering if there was a place to have lunch around Kamiminato, so I went near the port and found this inn.It's an inn, but I entered as I was invited by the guide, which seemed like a restaurant.Although the price cannot be said to be cheap, I was very satisfied with the volume and content as shown in the photos.It seemed like there wasn't much rice, but the first one was a seafood bowl.It was also nice to be able to enjoy the change of sea bream chazuke as I continued to eat.It was a limited-time menu, but perhaps because it was so popular, they continued to offer it even beyond the limited time period.It was heartwarming to see the small children doing their best to help their mothers, perhaps because it was run by a family.During this time when the number of customers is slow due to the coronavirus, please stop by if you are in the area.

It is located at the entrance to the Kamiminato ferry terminal. It may be a little difficult to understand at first glance.Although it seems to be an inn, I was able to eat normally. When I visited in mid-March this year (2023), it had just reopened after renovations, so the set meal included free service.As expected, the fish is fresh as it is right next to the sea. The price feels reasonable. The food prices around Munakata Roadside Station have increased due to the increase in the number of tourists, so it would be helpful to have a place like this.

I used it for lunch. While sitting by the window on the second floor and looking out at the ocean, I ordered the sashimi set meal and the tsuboyaki and aarataki turban shells. Everything was delicious ʘ‿ʘI didn't have squid this time, so next time I would like to try the live squid set meal.

You can enjoy a delicious fish lunch even on Saturdays and Sundays (•‿•)It's voluminous and I'm very satisfied.The restaurant is on the second floor, so you will have to go up some stairs.Also, the entrance to the parking lot is narrow, so please be careful when entering and leaving the parking lot.This is a place where you can see Kamiminato Port right in front of you.
