Never come back in this villa again! I now see the google reviews, I had to read them earlier before I booked this disgusting villa. It was a nightmare.. my vacation was one of the worst of my life. thanks to this terrible stay.

NIGHTMARE! The owner is rude en the Villa s are really old and dirty. The breakfast is almost 6 dollar/euro, see the picture how the make it. The pool is so dirty! The villa's have a really strange lock, we didn't feel safe. DONT BOOK THIS VILLA!

Charming hotel, but the sheets were dirty, the toilet door was off and the bathtub was clogged.Gecko and some cockroaches sneak in.Very nice staff and rental motorcycles in perfect condition, (something that is hard to find in Bali)If you have a motorcycle, you are 15” from the center

We had an excellent stay in this small villa! Everything was exactly as we expected and matched the description and photos perfectly. The staff was simply amazing—very welcoming and accommodating. Despite our late arrival at 3 AM, they waited for us with a smile and allowed us to extend our stay without any issues. The room was clean, as were the shower and toilet, and every day we had fresh towels, both for the bathroom and the beach. The pool was spotless, and the view from the room was absolutely incredible. The breakfast was delicious and perfectly complemented our experience. We were very pleased with the overall service and can’t wait to come back !

This place is Aesthetic. Overall you will love the vibe.Good thing is that it is affordable.There is kitchen where you can cook your meals. They have good swimming pool.You have to book cab to reach to main market of ubud.Few suggestion for property ownerDoors of room are bit scratchy she can get them fixed.Manger is quite helpfulIt was a decent stay here

This place is so beautiful, waking up with all the sounds of nature is a gift. Kadek who is taking care of the cleaning is a lovely boy, present, so kind and always helped us when we needed which is so important to feel safe and home. The rooms are old style and charming. I loved specially the garden and the outside bathroom for a night bath atmosphere. Suksema 🙏

Thank you to The Alus Cottage team, Tina and her family were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spacious, with a beautiful outdoor bathroom and super nice bathtub ideal to relax. The decoration is very relaxing and the garden was so lushful with lots of beautiful nature. Special thanks to Kadek for being always kind and helpful to make the guests confortable. It felt very much like home. A pleasure to see you soon again,

As much as I would like to say that I enjoyed staying at Alus Villa, I would be lying to myself by claiming that.The house itself is nice and beautifully located on the edge of a hill with a serene rice field view which is astonishing to wake up to first thing in the morning.It seems very peaceful at first, …… but unfortunately, it was not the private vacation getaway I was looking for:Too many times, someone showed up to our house — without informing us beforehand …They either did some maintenance on the pool, the Wi-Fi (which suddenly stopped working like once a week), or other parts of the house.This often felt like a violation of our privacy and made the stay very unpleasant. I didn‘t feel like I could really relax and enjoy what the place has to offer as I was always concerned that someone could invade our space at any time …There is some other aspects that need to be improved. Such as the mold, the cleanliness (our bedsheets had stains and the bathroom was never cleaned), and the kitchen (not sufficient to do any cooking as it is barely equipped).All in all, there were moments I truly enjoyed living here, and I definitely see how beautiful it could be, but it was also really annoying and disappointing — the value for money was just really poor.

the rooms and grounds are very nice. I stayed here for 4 nights. unfortunately the weather was very humid. so does the bathroom and the rooms. Everything (including my clothes and the bed took on a very bad smell). I asked for new towels as I simply didn't have anything dry left. I was made new promises - nothing happened :( .... the manager could only be reached via WhatsApp ... never seen ... the rest of the staff was really super nice. And not to forget when we arrived the mini bar was totally moldy. cleaned upon request.
