I stayed there for one night over 20 years ago, and the customer service was the worst (the food, the attitude of the owner couple, etc.)After staying at this pension, I started to hate pensions.When I suddenly remembered and searched for it, I was surprised to see that it still exists!If you are thinking of staying at this pension, I would like to advise you.

I used it during my summer vacation. Anyway, it's a nice pension. The white birch trees and flowers are well-maintained, and the owner and his wife's casual hospitality makes the property more appealing. Their signature French toast is fluffy and the best! Homemade bread and freshly harvested vegetables are also fresh and delicious. It is said that the Otokogumi drama was filmed here, and their photos were displayed in the dining room. The interior of the room is also refreshing. The surrounding area was quiet and I felt comfortable. This is a recommended pension.

The wife and owner were really nice people. I stayed there because there was a concert nearby, and there were no other customers, so I was treated very well. I decided on a breakfast only plan, and the French toast was exquisite. The vegetables and blueberries grown in the field in front of the pension were both very delicious. When I told them that I would be staying for two nights and sightseeing in Yamanashi on the third day, they kindly gave me detailed information on recommended places and directions using maps. This is a pension that I would definitely like to visit again.

I went in July, and the surroundings were quiet and relaxing. The hot springs were also nice. Lately, I've been baking bread for breakfast too. Of course, their signature French toast was also amazing.The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended!

The food is made with great care for the ingredients, and the taste is very elegant. The building is a little old, but it is kept clean. The friendly owners are also wonderful.

Why do you keep posting images from 30 years ago on your website?Currently, there are almost no white birches, no flowers, and no signboards.When I went there 12 years ago, the white birches had grown so densely that they reached the roof, and even though it was daytime, the room was so dark that I couldn't see the facility.There were handwritten notices posted all over the room, toilet, and bathroom, and I felt suffocated.The food at that time was delicious and well presented.Even if I wanted to post an image of the actual facility I visited during spring break in 2022, I can't because it seems to be ``restricted by owners.''This is a problem.

The other day, I stayed there for the first time in a year. After dinner on the first day, a cake party was held, where we enjoyed 5 types of cakes, including the recommended banana marron cake! The cakes that the wife makes by preparing chestnuts a few days in advance are all delicious.The owner also guided us on mushroom hunting the next day, and we were able to pick up a popular mushroom called Hanaiguchi (Jigobou). As soon as I got home, I cooked some mushrooms and had them in a pot, and they were so delicious! I'm thinking of staying there next spring!

I used it for the first time to spend an early summer vacation in Yatsugatake.The warm hospitality of the friendly owner and his wife is unique to a pension. We were able to spend a relaxing time enjoying delicious, home-cooked food (mostly vegetables grown by the owner) and conversation.The room was clean and comfortable (there was no mold smell as mentioned in another person's post) and you could hear the sound of the brook.At night, we also had a starry sky tour (unfortunately, it was cloudy at night, so we watched a DVD) and listened to some fun stories. My eldest daughter, who is an elementary school student, seemed particularly interested and said she wanted to stay the night again and look at the starry sky.I usually end up looking at the TV or my smartphone right away, but sometimes it's great to spend some time away from those things.This is a pension where you can feel safe and secure against the coronavirus. I'm hoping that the coronavirus will subside soon, and I'd like to stay there again in the fall.
