The inn was built a long time ago, and the tatami mats looked a little sunken. The toilet also didn't have hot water flushing, only a heated toilet seat. The food was so plentiful that I couldn't finish it all.The road in front of the guest house is not paved and is a gravel road.

2023.3.4 I used it after Smelt. It calms me down for some reason. The feeling I had when I stayed at my grandmother's house when I was little. The dishes aren't made with particularly expensive ingredients, but they're all delicious. The hostess and her daughter are also very considerate. The regulars, who come from Shizuoka, are friendly and easy to talk to.This time, I had made a reservation at Aoki Ryokan, but due to a water malfunction, I had to stay here. I think the result was good. This is an inn that I would like to come back to again during the warm spring season when flowers bloom. It was painful to wash my face with water in the -10 degree temperature in the morning. It was also fresh and good.

I was introduced to this inn because I was unable to stay at a famous inn in the neighborhood due to a water malfunction. The building is old, and it's a small inn run by an elderly mother and her daughter. My first impression was that it looked like a ski camp from the 1960s. If there is no lock in the room, you can hear voices from the next room. The toilet is shared, and the bath has a tile floor and a stainless steel home bathtub. It's more than half a century old to be called a lodging facility, but there's no moldy smell or peeling cloth at all. It feels like you're staying at your grandma's house. The food is very rustic, using plenty of local ingredients...but each dish is carefully prepared and very delicious. The konnyaku and udon noodles are said to be handmade. It's not the elegant taste you'd get at a Japanese restaurant, but for some reason it's very satisfying. The proprietress says that although her husband, who was a chef, passed away at an early age, she continues to serve the restaurant because she loves Mt. Akagi.I thought this is what heartfelt "hospitality" means. It's no wonder that the review rating is 4.8. Thank you.

1 night with 2 meals ¥7500 + tax (¥8250)Room without meals ¥4500+taxYukata, towels, bath towels, and toothbrushes were provided. When I called the night before to see if I could stay without meals, I was told that they recommend the half board option, which has been offered at the same price since the company's founding, so I decided to include a meal. I wasn't expecting them to include two meals for my last minute reservation, so I was very happy. I was able to spend time at my own pace as they told me I could spend any time I wanted. Homemade food was very delicious. We could also see shooting stars at night.

The Grandma's house. If you're looking for a comfortable accommodation, I think Aoki Ryokan would be a better option. My grandma is running the business by herself, so there are some things she can't do. In terms of facilities, there was no air conditioning, a stove and kotatsu, shared bathrooms, and electricity was slow to turn on. But it's still my grandma's house. The food is delicious and it costs 7,500 yen (plus tax 750 yen) for one night and two meals, which I appreciate. It's not too noisy, and it's a comfortable inn with just the right distance. It seems that most of the customers are regulars now, and they seem to be of good quality, and there are no noisy groups that are common in tourist areas (although there are Akagi's famous late-night motorcycle gangs), so you can sleep quietly at night. Also 〇. I'm satisfied.

Four men stayed here to go ice fishing for smelt on a cold winter day.The mother was very nice and made me feel good from the moment I arrived until I left.Although the building is showing signs of age in some places, the food was delicious and the room was clean. She said that most of the customers are regulars because the mother is so nice.We will definitely repeat. It's been a long time since I stayed in a hotel that was this good. There is a sense of security here, just like being at your grandmother's house.I was impressed so I decided to review it.thank you very much.
